Baja Amigos RV Caravan Tours

Baja Amigos RV Caravan Tours Tour guides for those who want to RV in Baja Mexico. One stop shop, all camping and excursions pre-planned for you!
(6)

Our first camping vacation in Mexico was in 1985 traveling in our Class B. Our 2 children were small (2 & 4 years old) and our parents and friends thought for sure we would never be seen again. This 4 month adventure would be a life altering experience and we fell in love with Mexico. Our love of Mexico was pivotal in our decision to start Baja Amigos RV Caravan Tours in 2008. Lisa’s 25 years of

organizing camping fun & adventure for families with Girl Guides of Canada and Dan’s 30 years of experience working with people in diverse sectors of the economy including government and tourism ensure our tour delivers a Mexico camping experience of a lifetime. Baja Amigos RV Caravan Tours offers three (3) 28-day tours in January, February and March and one (1) 45-day tour in November through mid-December. Our tours begin at the U.S./Mexico border descending down the Mexican Baja to Cabo San Lucas and return. The tours are designed to empower campers with the knowledge and confidence to return on their own to Baja Mexico for winters to come. Our tours are much more than just providing a great experience and adventure, we explore Baja California, Mexico’s magnificent peninsula. Our tours specialize in traveling in small groups, a maximum of twelve (12) campers in each tour. Our tours are very unique because they include our shuttle van for over 1000 km of hosted on-tour excursions. Traveling with us is more than just being clients, we will treat you like good friends, believe us when we say this feels very different then rving with 30 or 40 people.

BAJA AMIGOS POEM
WRITTEN BY SANDY LIMAN
JANURARY 2024 IN BAJA

The thoughts began one stormy November
Let’s take a trip….that we’re sure to remember

But where should we go and how long should we stay
Baja, Mexico…..I thought right away

At first it seemed like a might big leap
We’re driving a 17 year old RV…..not a Jeep

Then off to the internet to see what’s available
And convince my wife that it would be just wonderful

At first it seemed impossible to do
Then Baja Amigos popped into view

All we have to do is follow our trusty guide
Baja will be possible with Freddie at our side

Let the planning begin…..so many things to buy
Amazon boxes piled knee high

Solar panels, fancy shorts, and a 5 gallon drum
Never knew shopping could be so much fun!

Off we went in a puff of blue smoke and the happy clatter of diesel chatter
The fact that we were over gross weight didn’t seem to matter

Baker City, Wells, Las Vegas, and Surprise all flash by in that order
And before we knew it we were at the border

With 7 in the convoy now….this should be a snap
I’ll cross the border while taking a nap

A few days later it dawned on me….I was more than just number three
There was 1 – 7 plus Freddie and Lolie’…a team now defined by our unity

“Gang, we’re rolling now gang” Freddie would say
Nothing to worry about ….he knows the best way

“Circle the wagons gang” ….all in solidarity
Settling in for the night we find security

So much fun on warm sunny beaches with wonder food and comradery
Creating good vibes and feelings of tranquility

Closing my eyes a vivid memory pops into view
The trip of my lifetime has come true!

Just one final thought as before we say “Adios Muchacos”
Remember, we will always be Baja Amigos
