After a long hiatus from social media, we’re ready to go for 2022 season!! Here’s a little sample of what we’ve been up to this Winter. Temps were hovering between -30C and -38C for the duration of this job 🥶 Thank god for generators!

As we sat down to write this, we were stuck. What do you write about two of the most real, life altering people you have ever met? Benton Davie and Steven Page changed us all. They were more than friends. They were family. They were the individuals who led the room in laughter, in stories, and in adventure. They drew you in, and they were always there for you.

All three men involved stood for everything the north is, and they loved it. It was where they called home. They were all from other places but that didn’t for a second change that they are, were, and will always be what the north is about.

We could write for hours, but we feel the best way to honor these legends of life is to ask those who knew them best to share. Share the stories, the pictures, the experiences that we know you've already had with them.

Forever in our hearts. We miss you.

It was a beautiful day at 6500’ near Kusawa lake this weekend, shaping up to be another busy season ahead!

We often get questions on what our cold weather limit is. -40C ambient is our cold weather cut off in the Astar. We took advantage of the -38C prior to Dawson City dropping down to a frigid -47C. All of our machines are outfitted with Winter survival gear, sleeping bags, a shovel and an axe. In these temperatures it’s vital to dress appropriately for the flight. Bundle up and fly safe!
