Well it’s Christmas!🎄 🎄🎄 How did we get here? It feels like a blur!
Yukon 1000 Race and Yukon River Quest bookings are coming in, it’s been really appreciative to help with logistics.

Yukon River Quest K1s, hi 🙋‍♂️ There are 6 boats left, if you are planning on hiring I’d suggest let us know sooner or later. Helps with our planning and means you’ve got a boat.
K2s are still in abundance.
The Kisseynew C6s have been rented but bigger voyageurs still there.

So you’re racing in the Yukon in 2025? Here’s some of our top tips for traveling teams!
1. Make sure you get your entry in the moment they open, there are limited spaces on both the Quest and 1000.
2. Get your boat booked, there’s only so many boats in the territory and we’ll make sure you’ve got a boat but get it booked so we’re not hustling logistics.
3. You can get most things in the Yukon and there are some fantastic stores. But be prepared and make sure you know how to use your gear before you turn up.
4. Bring your own spare paddles, you need to have used the spare paddle before incase you break one in the first hour!
5. Get accommodation in Whitehorse and Dawson booked ASAP. It’s summer and we’re not the only ones enjoying 24 hours of daylight and spectacular paddling.
6. Zinc…. Pack lots of zinc!

Man we love some admin! People are being accepted for the Yukon 1000 Race and we’re halfway through the bookings which is always exciting to see the names coming through.
It’s our first year doing this so we do apologise if we get it wrong!

The Sourtoe Cocktail Club at the Sourdough Saloon of course! You haven’t actually finished the race until you’ve seen the Captain!
