What do breast milk, liquid medication and distilled water (for CPAP devices) have in common?

These are all considered essential liquids that can be carried through security screening in quantities larger than the 100ml limit.

They are exempted from the 100ml liquid limit and do not have to go into your 1L plastic bag. However, you will need to declare these items to the screening officer at the checkpoint and remove them from your carry-on bag for inspection.

Travelling with a small pet through security?
If you’re going on vacation with your furry friend, here is what you can expect at the checkpoint:
1. Inform the screening officer that you are travelling with your pet.
2. During screening, you will need to remove your pet from its carrying case so the carrier can be screened separately.
3. You will need to hold your pet or put in on a leash.
4. Do not put your pet carrier in a bin or place it on the rollers to the x-ray machine with your pet inside it.
5. The screening officer will conduct an explosive trace detection swab on you, and your animal will also need to be screened.

Good day, everyone!

Our K of C St. Edward Council in partnership and in coordination with Caring for our Environment-Manitoba, TARA LIBON Share & Inspire (based in Libon, Albay), and with ACC Events & Services, is launching the “Bangon Libon Fundraising Drive” to help our kababayans (countrymen) who were affected by the recent typhoon in Albay/Bicol, Philippines. Please see the fundraising poster below for more details.

A fundraising table will be set up at the Ben&Ben Live in Winnipeg concert venue on November 8, 2024 to collect and receive financial donations that will be sent to the TARA LIBON Share & Inspire group (c/o Sir Paul Segui and Reverend Fr. Ever Segui) where our donated funds will be used to help our kababayans who are still struggling and rising up from the devastation and traumatic effects brought by .

Financial donations may also be sent via e-transfer to “[email protected]” starting today. You may send a message to A. Pamplona for any questions regarding this initiave.

We are requesting for your generous support and help on this fundraising as we share our blessings to help our kababayans in the Philippines to rise (bangon) up.

Thank you, and Dios Mabalos!

Thanksgiving is a busy travel period.
Most airlines recommend you arrive two hours in advance for domestic flights and three hours in advance for International and US-bound flights. For more screening tips and wait times, visit: https://ow.ly/qruc50TJG6e

Did you know you can bring baby food, milk and liquid formula in quantities greater than 100ml in your carry-on for infants under 24 months?

Packing powdered formula? Some granular materials are limited to a total quantity of 350ml or less in your carry-on, so placing it in checked baggage is best. We also recommend avoiding metal-lined containers when traveling with this item.
