This August, Kris and her husband were welcomed aboard Cunard's Queen Victoria sailing from Rome to Barcelona. ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Here is what she had to say about her experience and highlights:

"To start, embarking the ship was a relaxed and easy process.

We noticed the stateroom was a large, well-lit room with a beautiful balcony for morning coffee.

I personally loved the interior Art-deco style decor that lead us on a journey in a timeless fashion.

On sea days we took in high tea at the Queens room. Delicious sandwiches and treats awaited our arrival. My husband even indulged in the champagne while I sipped on Earl Grey tea.

In the evening there were many options to dance the night away. We dominated the silent disco and stumbled through waltz lessons.

Off the ship our favorite excursion was the Cuevas del Drach. We were treated to a lovely display of boats carrying musicians playing Canon in D. We were in awe of the beauty of our surroundings; from the colour of the water to the sparkling cave walls.

Sadly, the day came to get off the ship.

The Cruise Vacations team (less our sick bookkeeper Eva) enjoyed a cocktail and dinner last night to celebrate our most successful year EVER!!

I'm onboard the Oceania Vista enjoying a few days of seeing this new ship in Miami!
First impressions:
Lovely size
Lots of dining options are bars
Adults-only terrace (Aquamar spa terrace) will get lots of use
Bathroom in the cabin is such a perfect size!
Staff is friendly, welcoming, and attentive

Can't wait to dine in Ember tonight and the main dining room tomorrow.

While we have sent many folks to Churchill, MB.... this is a trip that is once in a lifetime for my daughter Charlie and some fellow Girl Guides. Cruise Vacations will have cookies available as long as we can get our hands on them! $6/box by cash or etransfer. All funds raised go directly to getting Charlie to Churchill in July 2024!

Power has been restored and we're back in business!!
