Located in the town of La Rivière, Holiday Mountain Resort is nestled in the beautiful Pembina Valley of southwestern Manitoba.

⛷️ The Resort features 11 runs with a slope length of 610 m, offering skiers and snowboarders a peak 77 m vertical drop elevation.

🌲 The Resort is Manitoba's only ski and snowboard resort with on-site accommodations, featuring 10 classic individual a-frame cabins.

☕ Holiday Mountain boasts two on-site restaurants with plenty of indoor seating areas as well as two large outdoor viewing decks.

Holiday Mountain Ski Resort was established in 1959 when founder Noel Later purchased an area in La Rivière, located in the Pembina Valley of southern Manitoba. Having previously ran what was known as La Riviere Ski Hill, he then opened up Manitoba’s first official ski resort – Holiday Mountain – which quickly became a desirable skiing destination.

In the winter of 1959/60, the resort opened for business and began its legacy with the first snow making system, the first chairlift and the first snow camera in the province. Today the Resort is proudly owned by Paul & Renée Warkentin and a very exciting revitalization has been underway since December 2022.

Un ciel d’un bleu éclatant. De la neige toute fraîche. De l’air frais et pur. C’est l’hiver au Manitoba et il est temps d’aller jouer dehors. Chaussez vos skis, prenez place sur votre motoneige, attachez vos patins, lancez votre ligne à l’eau ou enfilez des raquettes : peu importe l’activité, nos grands espaces font qu’il est presque impossible de résister à l’appel du grand air.
