Canada's only flying Avro Lancaster has landed at the Fast Air Jet Centre!

This iconic WWII bomber, also known as the Mynarski Memorial Lancaster, honours Andrew Mynarski, a Winnipeg hero who gave his life trying to save a fellow crew member. Mynarski was awarded the Victoria Cross posthumously for his bravery, the last such honour given to a Canadian in WWII. Join us in remembering this incredible piece of aviation history.

The Fast Air maintenance team has completed an in-house upgrade to one of our King Air 200’s with a G1000 NXi Integrated Flight Deck to increase standardization to the fleet and provide leading edge safety to our clients and crew. In addition, a Centex Halo 250 gross weight increase kit will allow us to meet our clients’ needs to go further with a greater pay load. We upgraded the interior with new AvFab high density seats and LED interior lighting for greater client comfort. Numerous other improvements were implemented at this time and additional upgrades to the Fast Air fleet are planned over the next few years.
