Daily service ends Sep 29

We’re still giving tours each and everyday. And on Sep 16 we’re going for a 12-8 daily schedule. Still very free for all the boat rides you want 🙌

It’s been such a cruisin summer it’s almost unbelievable that it’s nearly at an end. 😭 We’ve had the privilege of cruisin the historic waters of the Forks since May long weekend and we’ve had the opportunity to see the local flora and fauna bloom.

Can’t wait to see what September brings!

We have had an incredible Water bus season! But now it's coming to an end in the near future. We're selecting a closing date for the service so you can plan accordingly, and get out there for as many bus rides as you like, before the season is over!

The water bus operating times have been adjusted to reflect the low light conditions. Effective immediately, our updated operating hours are Monday-Friday 8-10am. As well as Monday-Sunday 330-8pm.

So you can still get to work first thing in the morning throughout the work week. And you can enjoy all the daylight we have to offer on every day of the week!

The last day of operation for the Water. Bus will be Sunday, September 15th.
Thank you to all the patrons who have been cheering us on. We have learned so much about how folks want to use the service and we've so proud to have been able to re-introduce this to Winnipeg after so many years. Even though the season has been short due to high water, we are excited to come back and better than ever next year!

River tours are still running everyday and will continue running all September. Please share this post with any of the Bus-fans in your life.

About once a week we get at least one compliment about our uniforms. Folks actually ask if they can buy our hats..!

Well you can’t cosplay as a boat captain. BUT you can get yourself some WW merch! And we did not skimp on the hats. All available from our kiosk at the forks! Gotta come in person, sorry no online sales. But I can think of a worse place to come and spend a couple minutes grabbing a tshirt and a mini donut. Dang. Treat yourself to a macro donut if you’re hungry!

All tops are screen printed and all caps are embroidered. Sizing from XS-###L. While supplies last!

We have:
Natural Tees. 100% cotton Naturally coloured tee shirts with a lovely blue print. Totally normal tee. No funny business! $20

Vintage ringer tee. 50/50 poly-cotton blend. Just like your dad’s old BTO shirt. 4oz fabric means it’s super light and comfy. Printed front and back. $27

Crew neck. Medium weight, excellent for layering and for that late summer fit. Navy w gold printing front and back. $35

Hoodie. Same medium weight. Cozy but not bulky. Athletic heather is in the house. Lock up your sports balls! $35

Dad cap. Well worn look and feel. Nice size for dads and moms. Hell, I think I’ve seen Ariana Grande in one of these a couple times. $30

Rope hat, structured front cap with a jaunty rope detail. They call the colour ‘cardinal red’ but if I were you I’d insist your friends start calling you admiral. $35

Tech hat. Super lightweight with a soft packable brim. Toss it in the backpack w***y nilly and keep your head airy when you’re hiking, fly fishing, or practicing dentistry so you can one day climb Mount Everest. $35

We're proud to operate from The Forks Market, a historic meeting place. They continue the great tradition by creating a welcoming atmosphere. They're always thinking about how people interact with their space. We're happy to be a part of the landscape.

Did you hear about the high water? Right now the river levels are high enough that it's covering the riverwalk, as well as the public docks throughout the city. This means our Water Bus service has been delayed. We'll keep you updated along the way! But the high water conditions will likely stay for another little while.

In the meantime check out this article The Forks wrote about us!
