Water bus for Nuit Blanche!
Basically, we think it’s going to be pretty busy tonight! So we have a couple tips for happy bussing this evening.
Yes, it’s free!
Yes, we’re serving all the docks on the map!
No, you can’t stay on and take a loop.
No, you can’t stand on the dock.
We’ll need the room on the dock for the captain to dock, as well as passengers getting off the boat!
And yes we are doing tours until October 14th! The warm weather and good water level mean that our season was able to be extended!
Last day Oct 14, 2024!
Get out while the getting is good! Have you noticed the water level changing over the last week or so?
It was the cause of a bit of worry over here. The water popped up after we got rain for a few days. Quite a surprise to see it rising at this time of year. But all was within operating conditions so no big deal. But then it dropped even more quickly than it rose. Turns out someone was worried about the water level and started letting water flow out of our system. It was moving so fast we weren’t sure how long we would have to get the boats out..!
Well it turns out we weren’t the only people thinking the same thing. Enough folks spoke up that we convinced them to put the plug back in and normalize the level… thank goodness! It means we get a few more days for boat rides. Even better with nice warm days that we’ve been getting. For the chilly moments we’ve outfitted the boats with blankets as well.
Join us for a tour, to finish out the season, or hop aboard as we bring the water bus back for ONE NIGHT ONLY! In honour of Nuit Blanche, we are offering free passage from all the usual docks.
Any way you like, please come on down and ride a boat and have some fun!
Summer’s a pretty sweet fruit!
We’re squeezing every drop of sunshine we can. But all good things come to an end one day. 🥹
Can you believe the River tour season is about to be over..!? We can barely stand it but it’s true. Last day Sep 29, 2024.
The water level is dropping and boats and docks are starting to come out to for the water in preparation of the low water season.
