Everything changes September 15!
School has started and I’ve even seen some leaves starting to change… So we are moving with the times. September 16 will be the first day of our new daily tour schedule. Operating hours will be from noon to 8pm every day for the rest of September.
However we are also available for special events and school groups too! If you are an educator or you have an idea for a group booking please get in touch by email! Contact form on our website.
September 15th will be the last day for the water bus service. Until then we are still running weekday mornings from 8-10am for our commuting friends and early risers. We are also running the bus every single evening from 330-8pm. We’ll get everyone back home before the sun goes down!
We are still having a great time offering boat rides. We hope you’ll join us before our season is done!
We got Tshirts, ball caps, and cozy sweaters galore!
Special thanks to Jenna and Mika for cookin this up 💯
Our operating hours have condensed a bit with the sun going down. Water bus ends at 8pm. And tours stop leaving about the same time. For all available hours, you can still book online to save your spot! Long weekend times are now available too!
Quick tips for river trippin.
Come bus with us.
Ride the tide!
Got any others? Share them with your Water Bus driver! Riding the rivers EVERYDAY.
Hope this helps folks learn about how the bus works a bit. Please share far and wide. Our summer season isn’t too long here on the central coast. Let’s make the most of it!
BROAT SUMMER in effect.
If you’ve come down for a tour you’ll get a ticket with a time and the name of the boat. We have a lot of boats that look exaaaaactly the same so we have them names to differentiate them. Works like a charm.
They’re all named after Will and Griff’s parents. We’ve got Denise, Shana, Julia, Adeline, Dave, and Dave too. (Both their dads are named Dave 😆)
You’ll see the Daves operating as water bus broats soon! Coming to a public dock near you. For more info on the water bus and the locations. Check out our website. On the water bus page. Too easy eh?
Meet your crew. Part tew.

We are PROUD to be bringing the water bus back to Winnipeg after so many years!
You’re looking at docks that will live at the stops along the Red and Assiniboine rivers.
We will announce start times, locations and service schedule soon. Please share with friends to grow awareness.
Can’t wait to share more information with you all!
As boat captains we get views reserved for only a few lucky folks. One of them is the scene at the Redboine Boat club first thing in the morning, and at night when the sun is settling into twilight.
Our job is to share these experiences with folks in some small way. The waterways of Winnipeg are a special place and have been for thousands of years.
Join us for a tour, or book a private ride and see the unbeaten path (if you choose).
Water bus service will begin very shortly. The water has normalized and the clean up effort has begun! The river walk is open at The Forks but there’s a little work to do yet at the public docks.
Thank you to all who have joined us this year so far. We look forward to welcoming you soon!
We’ve been eagerly awaiting the water levels to drop so the river walk can finally open up to everyone in the city. It’s been hard not to feel a bit greedy about keeping the best views to ourselves. But now, after what felt like an endless wait, we’re thrilled to announce that it’s happening! This also means we can start activating the stops for the river bus service and get this summer underway. Stay tuned for updates and join us at the docks—and on the river walk—to make the most of this season together!
Meet your crew!
Yours running 9-9 everyday and 50% off every day before 1030am!
We’re ready for our close-up!
Our pals at Contempra printing have been super helpful turning our little boaties into little beauties!
When we were designing our new boats we knew we would be giving tours of the city, but also providing water bus service. While the water level has made it impossible to run the bus so far, we still designed the boats to be pretty bus-like.
Please tay tuned for updates as the water begins to drop! So looking forward to having the river walk back!!
Boats love water. I love water. Permanent concrete docks like water… but don’t LOVE it.
The public docks we use for the water bus stops are underwater. This means the water bus is not yet operational. However we’re still ripping tours from The Forks!
We’re keen to get started as soon as we can. So believe me, we will be posting and keeping our website updated to let you know when the water bus is ready to go. I’m the meantime we are keeping busy with river tours. We are running an ‘early bird’ promotion every morning from 9-1030am. Tours are 50% off!
A massive thank you to our staff and supporters. It’s been a wild ride so far and we’re excited to see what July has in store for us!

A little water won’t stop us! 🌊🏄♂️
We recently had to jump into action to move the docks from its normal location to the ‘high water’ configuration.
Our kiosk moved up to higher ground. Find us up in the main concourse between The Forks market and the Johnston Terminal.

What a time to be launching a river service.
If you see the rivers in your day to day life you probably already noticed that the level isn’t as high as it’s been in past years. This certainly bodes well for our season. However we will always be at the mercy of Mother Nature.
Stay tuned and will keep you updated as we go!
