Traveling can be stressful, but with these five tips will help you pass through security smoothly and efficiently!

1. Make a Checklist
Create a list to keep track of your items, ensuring they are in CATSA-compliant amounts.

2. Pack Liquids in a Clear Plastic Bag
Ensure each liquid item is 100 ml/ 3.4 fluid oz or less and pack them all in a 1L clear plastic bag. One bag per person.

3. Minimize Accessories
Wear easily removable outerwear and limit jewelry to avoid setting off metal detectors. Remove hidden body piercings, shoes and belts with buckles.

4. Have Your Travel Documents Ready
Keep all your documents handy (e.g. in a belt bag) for easy inspection and scanning by security.

5. Double-Check Airline Regulations
