WestJet penalty fee updates:
Effective September 01, 2022 WestJet is updating and simplifying our penalty fees. We are removing the "greater than/less than 60-day" penalty fee structure and moving to a single fee "at any time". We are also removing flight change penalty fees for our EconoFlex bundle in all regions.
The new penalty fee structure will be effective for tickets purchased on or after September 01, 2022. Tickets issued prior to this date will follow the fare rules in place at the time of ticket issuance.

Domestic, Transborder, and Sun destinations:
Basic: Changes not permitted
Econo: $100
Premium: $100
Business: $100
EconoFlex/PremiumFlex/BusinessFlex: No charge
NOTE: Penalty fees continue to be charged per fare component
Transatlantic:
Basic: Changes not permitted
Econo: $150
Premium: $300
Business: $500
EconoFlex/PremiumFlex/BusinessFlex: No charge
