The Ubud District can be found in the uplands of Bali, Indonesia. Famous for its rice terraces, wellness retreats, and Hindu temples, this area is among Bali’s most impressive landscapes. Don’t miss the chance to mingle with the “locals” in the monkey forest! The Sacred Monkey Sanctuary is home to approximately 700 Balinese long tailed monkeys, all free to roam as they please!

Seven Mile Beach in Negril, Jamaica is one of the calmest, clearest, and most pristine beaches in the Caribbean!

Once frequented by pirates, this white coral sand beach is a world renowned favourite among vacationers!

Due to the calm water and warm temperature, this is an especially good spot for a family vacation! My one year old loved napping in my arms while we waded into the sea!

Majestic, Magical, Magnificent - Machu Picchu!

This 15th-century Inca citadel, located in the Andes mountains of Peru. Machu Picchu was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1983 and was named one of the New Seven Wonders of the World in 2007!

Many guidebooks will tell you that Machu Picchu was discovered in 1911 by Hiram Bingham III, many Peruvians will tell you “It was never lost, we always knew it was there!”

Set in the clouds, it’s recommended that if you aren’t used to high altitudes (for example, prairie dwellers), it is best to arrive a few days early and stay in Cuzco - the gateway to Machu Picchu. Take my word for it - altitude sickness is not fun!

Kia Orana! The Cook Islands consists of 15 islands scattered across the South Pacific. It’s largest island, Rarotonga, is home to rugged mountains, boutique resorts, and some of the most welcoming smiles you will ever see!

Here are a few lesser known facts about Rarotonga:

- There is no chlorine allowed on the island so all pools are saltwater.
- The only bitey things are stonefish, and they are extremely rare, so the calm waters are perfect for anyone who wants to venture into the ocean but is a bit nervous
- Some things that Rarotonga doesn’t have are: casinos, fast food chains, buildings over 3 stories

Santorini is one of the Cyclades islands in the Aegean Sea. It was devastated by a volcanic eruption in the 16th century which shaped its rugged landscape. The whitewashed architecture of its 2 largest towns, Fira and Oia, cling to the cliffs above the caldera. Don’t miss a trek to the black and red beaches of this beautiful Greek island!

Shell Beach is a beach in the Shark Bay region of Western Australia.
The beach is covered with shells for a 60 km stretch to a depth of 7–10 m. It is one of only two beaches in the world made entirely from shells.
The high salinity of the beach has allowed the cockle species to thrive since its natural predators have not adapted to this environment.

Shark Bay is a World Heritage Site and it is illegal to remove the shells from Shell Beach... So nobody is selling seashells by this particular sea shore!
