A love for Halloween and the classic horror films has drawn this artist to the exploration of transforming a person into creatures only the imagination can create. From 2 dimensional to 3 dimensional make-ups, from out-of-kit to sculpted prosthetics, there is no path Christian will not travel down to create the art he has chosen to dedicate himself to. He created Post Mortem in 2004 as a small mak
e -up and special effects company to share his work with others who wish to create their own works of art, such as films, photo shoots, and theatrical productions. if it is something that can be created, he will take the challenge. In 2010, Christian expanded Post Mortem's repertoire to include prop and set building and rentals to offer more challenges and more services to those who may need. Theresa Thomson remembers seeing her first vampire. She was very young, had snuck out of bed and saw the movie her dad was watching. She was terrified of it at night, claimed to be one during the day and she learnt about the actors and the make up that scared and fascinated her so much. After seeing Frankenstein, “it was on”. She was in grade 5 when she created blood and zombie flesh in the kitchen for the first time. It grew into a love of all things creative and a passion for film and theatre. She learned make up and special effects wherever she could until Christian Hadley recognized her skills and provide opportunities to hone them. In the last few years working as a make up artist and designer, Theresa has impressed with her professionalism as well as her ability to learn fast, work hard, remain consistent and work efficiently under pressure. She comes to Post Mortem with a crazy strong creative skill set and is ready to tackle any challenge regardless of the esthetic, budget or dimension.
