Parents at weddings are a whole mood. One second, they’re holding it together, the next, they’re crying into a champagne flute. 🥹 There’s just something about seeing your kid (even if they’re 30) get married that tugs at the heartstrings. These are the in-between moments I live for—the ones that remind us weddings aren’t just about two people but about generations of love.

I’m so pumped and honoured to snag a Fearless Award from before the end of this year… especially this photo😍

This is a photo that I work to capture in every Gurdwara at every Sikh wedding I photograph… it’s a long ceremony but this moment happens in a small window of time in between prayers and the couple walking around the temple… it’s almost the only time I will use lights. I set them up, nail the exposure and frame and wait for the Guru Granth Sahib (holy book) to be open and the Granthi (like priest) waves the Chaur around❤️

I will never get bored or take this responsibility for granite🥹 And thank you Jyoti & Manpreet for having me to capture this❤️
