Happy Monday folks. I hope everyone had an awesome weekend. Now back to reality. Only a couple of days left to this month and then it’s December. Im not quite sure what it is, and perhaps it’s all in my head,but I just love the feel of December. More Christmas lights are lit up, VOCM starts with the carols,smiles are more plentiful and the excitement in childrens voices is really contagious. My granddaughter called me yesterday to talk about our Christmas craft night and her jaws were going a mile a minute. The next thing so are mine and we’re elf taking and it’s just magical. Take the time to enjoy it, to really feel the magic of December ❤️

Good day folks. Hope your all feeling fabulous this Sunday morning. The rain has washed all the snow away but unfortunately it has also canceled the downtown Santa Claus parade. Hopefully it will be a go next Sunday. And don’t forget the Grinch will be at Moms Place next Sunday at noon for anyone who’d like a picture with Mr. Grinch. Good morning folks. We had our first official snowfall up da shore yesterday. Just enough to cover the ground and give that pretty look. Now let’s talk about Christmas cookies.
So many of us have that hidden cookie talent. I have an aunt that actually makes Betty Criocker look bad. Her cookies are just splendid with the perfect amount of sparkle and every snowman has the same exact buttons. They look make believe and then when ya take a chomp ya almost fell bad for eating Frostys face off. I, myself don’t have that talent. I’m not a baker. So if any of you lovelies have any easy bake recipes you’d like to share , please post and share. I’d just love to shock my relatives with my easy-to- bake cookies😊

Good morning folks. And what a morning it is. She’s a windy one for sure.
This week is the official start of Christmas for me. Mom and I would always watch the Macy’s Thanksgiving day parade together and then the following day she would often get up with me to go Black Friday shopping. I remember one year Shoppers had their TVs on and we went over at 1130pm cause they were open 24 hours. Sale started 12am. Mudder wasn’t fussy going that hour so I convinced her to just come for the run. Once inside Shoppers I had both TVs picked up but could only check in one per customer. Mudder was in the car with her nightdress on . I made her come in and get me the deal on the TV, nightdress and all. The oats coming out of her at midnight. I can still hear them now. O the times❤️
Enjoy the little things this holiday season, cause they end up being the biggest things.❤️

WHen I got up this morning this is how I felt. I let Bruno out to do his business is my nightshirt and I was like ….O s**t Dorothy ya ain’t in Kansas no more. Froze is an understatement. But I put on my leggings and I smiled to myself. Froze or not, there’s no place like home. ❤️

Good morning folks! We are home and in full swing of things. Bobs cleaning the hot tubs and I got the sheets on the line. It was great to go away. I’m blessed to say I celebrated a week with 26 of my friends and kiddos in the beautiful island of Jamaica.
But when I saw the Mobile road 2am this morning it was just as well I saw Santa. I was so excited to see my doggie and sleep in my own bed.
I certainly missed Moms Place and answering all my messages. Sorry if I never got back to you. I will now today. The internet wasn’t the best at all times😊

Good morning folks. We are still in Jamaica until Monday and I apologize to anyone I haven’t gotten back to. I Love the water so my phone is often not with me. I promise I’ll get back to everyone soon.
Yesterday we did a catamaran. It was awesome. One of my favourite parts was seeing these pups. I figured they’d be starving. We shared some food and long behold they are picky pups. They only ate the jerk chicken. Turned up these nose to the rice and beans. I was so happy to see that. Reminded me of Bruno. Not hungry pups at all!😂😂
I miss my dog and me mudder. First trip of my life I didn’t call home to check on her.
But it’s also my first trip with my kids as adults and their significant others.
Life’s a blink. Time flies. When one chapter is over you start another. Make it a fabulous book!❤️🇯🇲😊

Good day folks. What a small world it is!! I’m swimming around in the pool today in Jamaica and a lady in the pool asks me..Do you own Moms Place? She was a previous guest of ours. Now how friggin cool is that? And then I find out she has a cabin on the same road and she’s been to our Grinch party with her boy. All I could think was wowsers! What’s the chances of that and I’m half way across the world. I love hearing that y’all had fun and ya come back for our adventures. Makes the heart grow ❤️❤️❤️

Good morning to y’all. Did everyone enjoy the extra hour of sleep?
Last night there was a treasure chest left at Moms Place by none other than Santa himself. Santa asked me to keep the chest away from the Grinch .It is magical and it’s bottomless. So I had an anniversary this weekend. The couple I had separated , each with their own unit😊
