Last week's Grapely Ghost Walk at the Grand Pre Winery was wonderful. Jerome the Gravekeeper summoned an amazing array of talented ghosts who brought to life the fascinating history of our delicious Valley in front of 16 Brave Souls.

Thank yous to for hosting us and to for serving up the wines. Thank you to the ghosts who were in fine form once again .richard

Thank you to everyone who helped to share and spread the event. Your continued interest in our efforts is recharging.

What a night!

Halls Harbour is so special.
It's an absolute honour to perform throughout it.

70 Brave Souls attended the Legends and Lore of the Fundy Shore Ghost Walk on Thursday, August 22. We started up at the Fundy View Community Hall and worked our way down to the village. They've done an incredible job building a sturdy foot bridge from one side of the harbour to the other. I assume the road will be completed in time for next year's tourism season...?

For our one and only Legends and Lore Walk of the year, it sure was special. Thank you to everyone who attended, supported, and spread the word. We're doing this same show inside the Charles Macdonald Concrete House Museum on Thursday, September 12, 7:45pm.

As for our next performance... catch us this Thursday, September 5, 7:45pm, at the Grand Pre Winery. You can do the Grapely Ghost Walk with or without wine.

Please help spread the word. Only a handful of tickets have been sold thus far.

What a night!

70 Brave Souls attended last night's one and only Legends and Lore of the Fundy Shore Ghost Walk in Halls Harbour. The weather came down on us ever so briefly...it's a good thing none of us were made out of sugar.

Jerome the Gravekeeper was able to summon his talented ghosts to bring to life the remarkable history of this remarkable Bay.

The new foot bridge installed recently for pedestrians, linking one side of the Harbour to the other, is well-built... but there's no sign of road work just yet. Don't get Jerome started in the pace of roadwork here in this province. Honestly...

The good news, I understand will be putting a greater emphasis on Halls Harbour in the near future. That's fantastic as the handful of businesses out there really need your support. Numbers are, unfortunately, down this year because of the washout. In fact, .spinazola attended last night, and she answered Jerome's questions, and even shared a tale about her
Sometimes, hard compromises between immovable forces need a little rum to settle differences.

If you missed the fun last night, we are replicating the show on Thursday, September 12 at the Charles Macdonald Concrete House Museum in Centerville with a stationary Ghost Talk. Thank you for your ongoing support

Our next show is in two weeks, September 5, for the one and only Grapely Ghost Walk of the season. Local wine and local lore are Jerome's favourite topics!

The average attendance is way up this year. Thank you for your ongoing interest in what we're all about. After 17 seasons and over 400 shows, this is still so much fun.

How many of these ghosts will appear tonight in Halls Harbour?? You'll just have to show up yourself to find out.

Tonight is our one and only Ghost Walk of the season in this quintessential Bay of Fundy village. What a perfect setting for a local history lesson.

Take the eastern approach into Halls Harbour (not the detour). Park at the Fundy View Community Hall, and we'll walk down into the Harbour together.

Thus far, 47 of the 70ish tickets are accounted for, so if you're keen, it is best to purchase online throughout the day.

Thank you again so much for your ongoing support. It's been a wonderful Lucky 17th Season so far.

Sunday night was magic.

The little Blue Concrete Cottage was full of 20 who were captivated by the Legends and Lore of the Fundy Shore. Jerome the Gravekeeper summoned his talented ghostly friends to perform the memories of Lucy Prudence, Mrs. Kappelle, Granny Morris, Captain Joshua Slocum, Captain Hall's Crewman, and Charles Macdonald himself.

Charles built this whimsical fairy cottage in the 1930s along with 4 other cottages out at Huntington Point, just west of Halls Harbour. This one is still under the care of the and can be rented out by the week. As the ghosts did their thing, Jerome sat on the stairs in this intimate setting and felt the happy presence of those who came before us. Jerome reckons they approve of our efforts, they have to enjoy their fascinating stories being told.

After the show, a good handful of guests headed down to the beach with Jerome to enjoy the raw beauty of the Bay Of Fundy and to bask in the tail-end of a preexisting fire...as mentioned, it was a magical night.

It was also a bit of a warmup for tomorrow's one and only Halls Harbour Ghost Walk of the season. Close to 40 tickets have already been sold, and the weather is looking favourable. Come up the eastern approach to the Harbour (not the detour) and park at the Fundy View Community Hall. Showtime is at 7:45pm sharp, so leave your houses 10 minutes sooner than you're planning. We can only handle around 70 guests, so best to get them online today or tomorrow.

This Lucky 17th Season of Valley Ghost Walks has been a joy. Thank you so much for your continued interest and for the deadication of the ghosts.

Tonight's performance at the Blue Concrete Cottage will be small but mighty. After a few cancelations, there are now only 4 tickets accounted for.

However, the show must go on as there could always be a few walkups and/or sales throughout the day.
In 17 years, we've certainly performed for fewer. The energy is always most enjoyable when it's a full house...but it'll be good practice for this week Thursday's Walk throughout Halls Harbour in which there's been many tickets sold thus far. Can't win them all, gotta stay positive.

Regardless of the final numbers, tonight will be special. The ghosts will still be in fine form, and the spirit of Charles Macdonald will be pleased that his fairy cottage will be full of life.

Please help spread the word about the fun we'll be having tonight. Thank you

Join us tomorrow evening, 7pm, at the Blue Concrete Cottage in Huntington Point near Halls Harbour.

Thank you for hosting us. Being in Charles' fairy cottage is always very special.

Limited tickets are available for this show... we'll head to the beach afterwards for pictures.

Last week Thursday, 40 attended the Landscape Grand Pre UNESCO World Heritage Site Ghost Talk

Although we've experienced more impressive sunsets up there, the weather still cooperated, and the bugs disappeared once the sun went down.

and to the musical guest .cote.7796

There's no Ghost Walk tonight.

However, you can catch us this Sunday night, 7pm in the Blue Concrete Cottage in Huntington Point near Halls Harbour. Thank you for teaming us with us again to make this special night happen. Charles made some incredible fairy cottages in the 1930s, and they are an absolute joy to perform in.

Sunday's show is very limited seating, in fact, there's only 10 tickets left. Find them online Valleyghostwalks.com

I made a post about this beach a few years ago.
At that time, a little was exposed of one of them. ..I'm thinking a roadtrip is in order to see the update.

The communities of the Minas Basin significantly contributed to the Golden Age of Sail in the 1800s as almost every single one of them made ships to some degree.

Tickets are selling for tomorrow night's next Valley Ghost Walk performance up UNESCO World Heritage Site on the Old Post Road in behind the Grand Pre Winery. The weather forecast is still looking alright as of today. Amazing.

Advance tickets online, but you can always square up with cash before the show.
Valleyghostwalks.com

Bring your own lawn chair, blanket, umbrella, & bug spray!!

This'll be a compilation Ghost Talk (stationary) of the various communities that we haunt. Jerome the Gravekeeper is honoured to be able to help explain some of the Acadian deportation history with that landscape as a background. Over the years, we've experienced absolute magic up there with perfect sunsets. Of all the haunts we do, this one has been circled on Jerome's calendar for a while.

Thank you to the Grand Pre National Historic Site for working with us to ensure the performance. They do such an amazing job there going into depth with the Acadian story.

Thank you to the dedicated ghosts who remain summonable. You are the reason why we've been able to continue to do what we do for the past 17 seasons.

And...thank you to all the Brave Souls for your continued interest in what we do. It's never hard to say good things about our most historicaly-rich, amazing Valley in all of North America!!

Thank you, , David, , and Tara, for bringing Windsor’s firey history to life. We had a few ghosts doing roles for the first time and with short notice. Jerome is surrounded by such talented souls.

Being an official event of Avon River Days certainly helped to draw more attention to the show. Any time there's over 60 guests, is thrilled. The energy coming off a large crowd is addictive. Thank you for reminding us how much fun these walks can be.

As for this week, a good little handful of tickets have been sold for this Thursday at the UNESCO World Heritage Site on the Old Post Road in Grand Pre. Jerome has summoned a fantastic array of local ghosts from the various towns we haunt.

It's Thursday!
That means the weather has to be questionable. Mother Nature has it out for Jerome the Gravekeeper once again this season... whatever.

However... we're not made of sugar, and neither are you. If it rains, it'll be light and warm.

Our first Wolfville Ghost Walk of our Lucky 17th Season got off on the right foot this past Thursday with 40 Brave Souls.

The weather was, more or less, perfect, and the Jerome's Ghostly Friends were in fine form.

The walk went long...2 hours and 15 minutes.... which is a little too much, I've been told. I could blame it on the speed it takes to herd such a crowd, but the truth is, Jerome doesn't know what to cut. It's all pretty fascinating, but I'm pretty biased.

This week's in Windsor already has about 39 guests accounted for, which is wonderful. Jerome loves knowing that the people are still interested in our incredible history. We'll probably cap things at 80, so if you're keen, it's best to prepurchase. Thank you, , for all the added promotions. It's a pleasure being an official event of your well planned festival. See y'all this Thursday, 7:45pm sharp, at the Blockhouse for a snapshot of Windsor 's firey past.

I reckon I've cancelled tonight's Ghost Talk everywhere it was posted, and I've called everyone who bought tickets about their refunds...but I figure I'll make a post here as well.

Although the Tangled Garden stepped up to offer us the wedding tent, due to safety concerns on the roads, it's best to pull the plug.

We'll be haunting the Landscape Grand Pre UNESCO World Heritage Site one more time this season, Thursday, August 8, 7:45pm.

We've also posted a handful of other shows, with a few more to be added as we figure it out.

The days of doing weekly Ghost Walks are behind us. Instead, we're working with the philosophy of less is more. Scarcity tends to create urgency anyhow. If you want to catch a Ghost Walk this year, your options are relatively limited and that's A-OK.

Thank you for your continued interest in Valley Ghost Walks, it's been 17 memorable years and over 400 ghostly productions.

UPDATE #2 .....TONIGHT's GHOST TALK is CANCELLED due to safety concerns on the roads.

I'm sorry to do this, I hate cancelling.

At the sweat two nights ago, at the Ariana Nasr solo concert in the Gaspereau Community Hall....

B & S recognized Jerome and provided appreciated feedback and observations. No need to talk about the specifics, but the opportunity to reflectively break it down was appreciated.

Year 17 is unlike any other....and why not?

I don't see there being a rack card listing all the upcoming shows. ...but the next 4 shows are known, at least.
And that's a great start.
More are being worked on, Jerome is digging the progress.

Thank you for your support and continued interest.
Much appreciated.

The other week, Jerome and Archie Pelton had the pleasure of chatting with about 40 brave souls from the Kentville Historical Society

It was the first time Jerome had ever performed without his jacket... he felt a little exposed. Good thing the performance was inside as that much sun on my arms might have melted me.

Tonight, we haunt Kentville again, but as an official part of the 90th Apple Blossom Festival

A good little handful of tickets have been sold online (check Valleyghostwalks.com ), but cash- only tickets are always available before the show. Meet us in the parking lot of the Main Street Station. We look forward to getting back in the saddle!!

As for the rest of the season, Jerome has decided not to schedule any walks in June. The hope is that we'll start up in July, but stay tuned here for all the updates. Jerome's other tourism outlet is growing and is keeping him plenty busy

Cheers to our Lucky 17th season. Thanks again for your continued interest.
