While in Ocho Rios I went to see the new Bob Marley: One Love movie at the Cove Theatre.
Two things that were different from the movie theatres back home were they stand for their national anthem before the show starts and they also stop it in the middle for an intermission.
One ticket cost $2300 JMD which is around $20 Canadian
I did the White River Bamboo Rafting tour yesterday. You’re comfortably seated on a wooden raft completely crafted from bamboo. You'll then have about an hour to travel down the river with your local guide, checking out the lush scenery as you float along.

My first stop on this trip was Kingston, the capital city of Jamaica where I took a guided tour of The Bob Marley Museum!
The museum is located at 56 Hope Road, Kingston, and is Bob Marley's former place of residence. All the original rooms have been kept as they were when Bob lived here and knowledgeable guides will es**rt you through the grounds, which include the main house, exhibition hall, theatre, gift shops and the One Love Café.
“Bongo Herman” who is shown in some of these pictures, grew up in Trench Town with Bob Marley, and worked alongside him for years.

I LOVE to travel and I am so very thankful for all of the experiences I’ve had so far. Being in the travel industry means there is so much out there and you have to keep up to date on all the latest information. I also attend weekly training sessions online with all of the Major Resort Brands and Tour Operators and sometimes in person when they are offered.

I had a fantastic breakfast this morning at the Cape May Cafe Character dining!
I had lots of fun at Epcot yesterday! We went on lots of rides and then had a special dinner planned so we could meet all of the Canadian agents!
I checked into Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge today. The rooms and the resort are amazing! I have a Savanah room so I can see all of the animals right from my balcony!
I made it to my hotel and spent the day shopping! It’s a great hotel with lots of stuff to do!
The Holiday Inn Resort in Montego Bay is a great value for your money with a long beach, plenty of sun loungers and a unique sandy island that you can walk out to and relax on for the day ☀️
There are food huts located across the property, a nice pool and a kids area. I ate at the Jamaican restaurant and the food was great! I was seated on the balcony and got there right before the nightly entertainment started which were a group of 3 local singers.
The rooms are basic but clean and comfortable, the buffet food is good with different options and the staff are very friendly and welcoming 😊
I was in building 7 which is the Adults only building, I was on the ground floor and had easy access to the adults only pool. All buildings have elevators and in my building they have a lounge area with drinks and snacks.
If you’re looking for a great budget friendly hotel in Jamaica I would definitely recommend this one! 🇯🇲

The second part of our stay was in Ocho Rios where we stayed at Couples Tower Isle.
This is a bright and beautiful resort with its own private “Au Natural Island” and eight ultra-exclusive Oasis Spa Villas featuring unlimited spa treatments!
The next day we headed over to Couples Negril for a tour of the property.
This oceanfront adult resort is a favourite among all-inclusive vacation resorts, offering fresh, modern guest rooms, a treehouse spa and an amazing swim up pool bar!!
I was lucky enough to tour all four of the Couples Resorts in Negril and Ocho Rios. These are all-inclusive luxury boutique resorts owned by a Jamaican Family.
It truly is all inclusive as they are non tipping resorts and have excursions included in your stay!
It’s also adults only so it’s a carefree environment that encourages you to forget about everything and focus on enjoying each other!
Couples Swept Away was our first stop and where we stayed for two nights. This resort has a secluded quiet feel to it and is located on the amazing Seven Mile Beach of Negril. It also has the island’s largest fitness complex!
My first trip as a Travel Agent is going to be hard to beat! Jamaica was absolutely beautiful, the people were amazing and the Couples Resorts we visited were stunning! I can’t wait to go back 🇯🇲
