Die An-/Abflüge zwischen den zwei Mailänder Flugplätzen #Linate und #Malpensa erfordert eine gewisse Koordination. Es ist daher nicht unüblich, dass die ankommenden Flugzeuge auf Milano Linate deshalb auch tief fliegen um den Verkehr in Malpensa nicht zu blockieren. #SaintTropez - #LaMole ist ein spezieller und nicht ganz einfacher #Flugplatz. Dieser befindet sich in einem engen Tal umgeben von Hügeln. Auf Grund seiner Topographie gibt es im Anflug teils kräftige Winde und durch die Ost-/Westausrichtung der Piste, sind Landungen gegen Abend hin wegen der tiefstehenden Sonne besonders schwierig. Spektakuläre Aufnahmen eines Microburst

Die Redewendung "es schüttet wie aus Eimern" wurde in diesem Video von Bryan Snider, einem amerikanischen Fotograph, sehr eindrücklich festgehalten! Die Aufnahmen zeigen die Entstehung eines Gewitters und die eines nassen Microburst, oder auch Downburst genannt. Unterschieden wird zwischen trockenen und nassen Microburst. In diesem Fall sieht man sehr genau und in eindrücklicher Weise wie der "Eimer voller Wasser" über der Landschaft entleert wird. Der Effekt eines Microburst ist in Sachen Windverhältnisse und Schäden am Boden nahezu identisch mit einem mässigstarken Tornado. Von Piloten verständlicherweise gefürchtet - aber gut gibt es dazu Warnsysteme in modernen Flugzeugen. Auch Flughäfen verfügen über ein entsprechendes Warnsystem.
