2016 marks 20 years since the completion of Bouillouse 1. Bouillouse 1 is a gravity/masonry dam and the geomembrane system is still performing after being installed in 1996.

It's been about a month, since we finished lining of Camporredondo dam - over 60m tall masonry dam in Spain. Our crew had to face some harsh weather conditions there, including floods that few times during installation drowned the lowest compartment area around the intake structure...

Where are we now?
One of our ongoing projects at this moment lies deep in the beauty of Californian High Sierras, in the John Muir Wilderness, not far from Pacific Crest Trail. Its name is Florence Lake dam and it is a multiple arch dam with 58 arches, built around 1930 as a part of Big Creek Hydroelectric project (Southern California Edison), got reshotcreted couple times and since last year it has been getting some membrane treat.. That should be going on for next few summers. Stunner!

One of our boys drove through that area last week so he stopped to check on few dams there. Due to drought in California he had a chance to see entire face of South Lake Dam. Carpi lined this rockfill, wooden faced dam in 2011, so this is after 4 years of operation. Looks pretty good!
