I have been working for more than 20 years as a Consecutive Interpreter, Private Tour Guide and as a Travel Es**rt Interpreter. I do not see myself in any other field because I love the work so much. Like most guide interpreters, I work within the travel industry. As a travel interpreter, also called guide or es**rt interpreter, I accompany either English/Portuguese/German/Spanish-speaking clients

abroad or those from around the world coming to Switzerland. My job is to guide you through the narrow streets of the old town, to taste the Bernese traditional dishes, but also to meet some locals and facilitate communication during interactions, either in a professional or more informal way. Most of the interpretation provided is consecutive, especially on longer trips. I am aware that my personality is one that most people get along with, as my ability to understand and translate your language, dialect or slang. By being completely fluent in English, German, Spanish, Italian, French and Portuguese, I believe it would be beneficial to the tour as well as in assisting you.
