Itinerary

Day 1: Beijing
Tiananmen Square - Old Town (First Contact with the Chinese)
Arrival in Beijing, greeted at the airport by your guide.
First step on Tiananmen Square, for a first impression of China with its vast square.
Stroll in the old town of Beijing, in the old districts, discovering one of the ten most beautiful Hutongs in Beijing, Yandaixiejie, with your guide. Explore at your leisure, either on foot, by bike, or by rickshaw.
Check-in and overnight at the hotel.

Day 2: Beijing
Temple of Heaven - Forbidden City (Imperial Life)
Breakfast at the hotel.
In the morning, walk through the Temple of Heaven (Tian Tan), a place where the emperor prayed for good harvests, surrounded by a vast 273m² park.
Afternoon dedicated to the Forbidden City, the world-famous site where many emperors reigned. Special visit to an unusual hall, isolated from the crowd, the Hall of Military Prowess, to admire the architecture.
Optional evening: Kung Fu Show or Peking Opera (optional and pay on-site).
Return and overnight at the hotel.
FOCUS: Temple of Heaven: Visit in the morning to discover and participate in various activities practiced by the Chinese people (Taiji, Kung Fu, shuttlecock, Mahjong, card games, singing, dancing, diabolo...). A way to get to know Chinese life.

Day 3: Beijing/Xi'an
Great Wall Jinshanling - Photo Stop at the Olympic Stadium (Childhood Dream)
Breakfast at the hotel, then head to the Great Wall. Wear good shoes for the day. Jinshanling, a wild and less frequented section of the Great Wall, is simply breathtaking. You'll be alone climbing the Great Wall, just you and the ruins stretching endlessly. Many say this is the most beautiful part of the monument, unlike the crowded sections of Badaling and Mutianyu.
On the way back, photo stop at the Olympic Stadium to admire the surprising architecture of the Water Cube and the Bird's Nest.
Transfer to the station, overnight train to Xi'an, soft sleeper, first night on board.

Day 4: Xi'an
Arrival - Terracotta Army - Laogou Village with Troglodyte Houses - Muslim Quarter - Great Mosque (Return to 221 BC)
Arrival at Xi'an station in the morning. Meet your local guide and transfer to the hotel for breakfast.
Depart for an archaeological site visit of the Terracotta Army (40 km, 1h), part of the burial complex of China's first emperor, Qin Shi Huang Di, dating back to the 3rd century BC.
In the afternoon, stop at Laogou Village, meeting farmers and visiting a troglodyte house, typical of the region, called Yaodong in Chinese. Yaodongs are common on the Loess Plateau in the middle basin of the Yellow River.
Return to the city. Explore and stroll around the old town near the Great Mosque and its Muslim Quarter, the most lively and popular area in Xi'an, where many street vendors offer their local specialties.
Optional: Tang Dynasty Songs and Dances Show with a dumpling banquet. An excellent representation of traditional dance, singing, and music.
FOCUS: Laogou Village is very typical for visiting traditional Chinese Yaodong houses. A yaodong has a single room serving as a bedroom, kitchen, and toilet. Some yaodongs have stone facades with carved motifs. Inside, a kang (platform) is built to be used as a bed, with a chimney next to it.

Day 5: Xi'an/Guiyang
Little Wild Goose Pagoda - Chinese Calligraphy Class - Park at the Foot of the City Walls - Shuyuanmen Street - Flight to Guiyang - Drive to Danzhai (Birth of Calligraphy)
Breakfast at the hotel.
Visit the Little Wild Goose Pagoda, where you can observe Chinese people doing their morning exercises, and participate in a short Chinese calligraphy class. Then, a pleasant walk from the South Gate to Wenchang Gate through the park at the foot of the city walls. Stroll in Shuyuanmen Street, Xi'an's antique district.
Transfer to the airport, flight to Guiyang. Arrive in Guiyang, the capital of Guizhou, a city amidst mountains, often under a blanket of clouds.
Greeted and driven for 2.5 hours to Danzhai (180KM). Danzhai is the destination of the Miao minorities.
Welcome ceremony by Miao girls followed by a special regional dinner: local hotpot.

Day 6: Danzhai/Huanggang/Zhaoxing
Terraced Fields in Gaoyao - Huanggang Village - Zhaoxing (A Rainbow of Rice Fields)
Breakfast at the hotel.
Drive to Zhaoxing. Enjoy a pleasant walk in Huanggang, a D**g village. Also, see the terraced fields in Gaoyao village.
Arrival in Zhaoxing, a town full of wooden houses with gray tiles stacked in layers like those of pagodas. This is one of the most beautiful D**g villages, whose towers once housed drums to sound the alarm.
Overnight in a typical hotel.

Day 7: Zhaoxing/Sanjiang
Diping and Chengyang Wind and Rain Bridges - Terraced Fields in Tang'an (Bridge Architecture of Minorities)
Breakfast at the hotel.
Drive to the top of the terraced fields in Tang'an, a D**g village with fields as vast as Longsheng but less crowded and more original. You can walk 1.5 hours from top to bottom through these magnificent terraced fields, with your car waiting at the end of the route.
Visit the charming Diping Wind and Rain Bridge.
Drive to Sanjiang, arriving in the afternoon. Walk on the largest Wind and Rain Bridge in Chengyang, 50 meters long and entirely built of wood.
Overnight in Sanjiang.

Day 8: Sanjiang/Guilin
D**g Villages in Sanjiang - Fubo Hill (D**g Constellation)
Breakfast at the hotel.
Last walk in the minority land. There are 7 D**g villages around Sanjiang, like the seven stars in the sky.
Departure in the afternoon to Guilin. Arrival and visit Fubo Hill.
Overnight at the hotel.

Day 9: Guilin/Yangshuo
Li River Cruise - West Market - Local Market (Mountain and Water Painting)
Breakfast at the hotel.
Transfer to the Zhujiang Pier and cruise on the Li River amidst fairy-tale landscapes to Yangshuo. Lunch on board.
Disembark in Yangshuo. These landscapes have inspired many Chinese artists for generations, showing that Chinese ink wash paintings are realistic. You will be provided with a Chinese brush and rice paper to try for yourself.
Free time at the West Market, where all kinds of shops, bars, and restaurants cater to tourists.
Don't miss the real daily life, such as the local market, where you'll find all sorts of fresh vegetables, aquatic products, meat, including dog and cat...

Yangshuo is a region rich in agriculture. Depending on the season, you'll find mandarin, orange, grapefruit, cherry, kumquat, persimmon trees... If possible, we can arrange an agricultural activity such as seasonal fruit picking or rice field plowing (optional and pay on-site).

Day 10: Yangshuo/Shanghai
Old Shanghai - Mandarin Yu Garden
Breakfast, then transfer to the airport. Flight to Shanghai.
Greeted by the guide. Walk the streets of Old Shanghai with its pedestrian alleys lined with traditional shops and stroll through the splendid Mandarin Yu Garden dating back to the 16th century, located in the heart of the old city.
Check-in and overnight at the hotel.
FOCUS: Shanghai by night, Shanghai shines brightly.
Shanghai's nightlife is very lively, with skyscrapers illuminating the magic of the place. The Xintiandi district, the old town, and the famous Pudong are the places to see at night in Shanghai. For partygoers, the biggest nightclubs in China are in Shanghai!

Day 11: Shanghai
Bund - Pudong - 2-Hour Bike Tour of the French Concession - Shanghai Museum - Nanjing Road (Modern China)
Breakfast at the hotel.
Day dedicated to the contrast between modernity and the old city.
Walk along the Bund, the center of administrative and commercial activities of the past, offering a magnificent view of the port and along the river. Cross the Huangpu River by public ferry. Walk in Pudong, at the foot of the International Finance Center Tower.
In the afternoon, a 2-hour bike tour (can be replaced by a private car). Stops at former sites in the French Concession (Huaihai, Sinan streets, etc.), with a coffee break, in the Shanghai of the 1930s.
Then, shopping on Nanjing Road, the Champs Elysées of Shanghai.
Optional: Shanghai Circus (pay on-site).

Day 12: Suzhou/Tongli/Shanghai
Master of the Nets Garden - Water Village of Tongli - Garden of Retreat and Meditation - Boat Ride (The Eastern Venice)
Breakfast at the hotel.
Drive to Suzhou (2.5-hour drive).
Visit a charming garden, the Master of the Nets Garden, the smallest garden in Suzhou. Then, continue to the water village of Tongli with the famous Garden of Retreat and Meditation. Then, a boat ride through the old town of Tongli, crossing its bridges and canals.
Return to Shanghai at the end of the day.

Ancient Villages
Shanghai – Tongli – Suzhou – Huangshan – Hangzhou – Xiamen – Yongding – Meizhou – Guangzhou – Hong Kong

West of Shanghai, if you love canals, the cities of Jiangsu and northern Zhejiang—particularly Tongli, Luzhi, Wuzhen, and Nanxun—are easily accessible. From Suzhou or Hangzhou, take a bus to Tunxi in Anhui to explore the charming Huizhou villages like Yixian and Shexian for a few days. After that, head south to enter Hakka territory, the hilly region around Longyan, which is home to fortified villages. Take the opportunity to spend four days exploring the nearby Hakka districts of Meizhou and Yongding in Guangdong and Fujian. There, you can stay in an earthen building and fully immerse yourself in the local way of life.

Day 1: Shanghai
First Contact with the Chinese
Two sides of this metropolis: modernization and tradition
Arrival in Shanghai, meet and transfer to the hotel. Head to the "Bund," where the most beautiful façades of Shanghai from the Roaring Twenties stand. Cross the Huangpu River by public ferry. Stroll in Pudong at the foot of the "International Finance Center Tower." Visit the old city with the Mandarin Yu Garden (16th century). Walk in the former French concession Xintiandi and visit the Museum of Old Residences.

Day 2: Shanghai

Day 3: Shanghai – Tongli – Suzhou – Tunxi

Tongli Village – Garden of the Master of the Nets
Breakfast at the hotel.
Depart for Tongli, located in the suburbs of Suzhou. Visit this charming village in the morning to experience local life. Walk through this water village crisscrossed by canals and small stone bridges, which has preserved its traditional charm.
Continue to Suzhou.
Visit a charming garden, the Master of the Nets, the smallest garden in Suzhou. Walk in Suzhou’s old town (Pingjiang Road) at your own pace. Visit a silk reeling workshop.
Transfer to the station for an overnight train to Tunxi.
Overnight on board.

Day 4: Tunxi – Bishan
Arrival in Tunxi in the morning. Meet the guide and have breakfast at a hotel.
Depart for Yixian. A bike ride will be organized through beautiful landscapes.
Excursion to Hongcun and Xidi villages. According to UNESCO, which listed them as World Heritage Sites in 2000, “the layout of the streets, their architecture and decoration, and the integration of the houses into a vast water supply network are unique remains.”
Evening in Bishan village, overnight in a centuries-old Ming house.
FOCUS: Bishan village, which has preserved the Ming style. White walls and black tiles, pagodas in front of the village deeply mark the memory of China. Today, Bishan’s farmers still work in agriculture, wickerwork, tea, and h**p seeds. Crafts also constitute their traditional production methods, worship, ethnic songs, and community theater are still part of their traditional lifestyle and customs.
The morning and evening are the best times to meet them.

Day 5: Bishan – Mount Huangshan

Mount Huangshan - Pavilion of Cloud Dispersal - West Valley
Breakfast at the hotel.
Drive to Mount Huangshan, the Yellow Mountain. Covered in lush pine vegetation, it is bathed in mist. At the summit, a sea of clouds and granite peaks extend before your eyes, offering a breathtaking view.
Ascend by the Yungu cable car near Beihai (North Sea).
Walk through the West Valley, known for its steps carved into the rock, following the relief and reaching the summits. Stop at the Cloud Dispersal Pavilion (Paiyun Lou) to watch the sunset.

Day 6: Huangshan – Hangzhou

Breakfast at the hotel, then descend Huangshan Mountain by cable car. Visit Chengkan Village en route, an authentic village life away from the crowds.
In the afternoon, drive to Hangzhou.
Arrive in Hangzhou in the early evening. Check into the hotel.

Day 7: Hangzhou
Earthly Paradise
Linyin Monastery - Tea at Meilong - Boat Ride on the West Lake in a Private Sampan
Breakfast at the hotel.
Boat ride on a sampan, a typical Chinese boat, on the West Lake, where you can admire a beautiful landscape: mountains and lush flowers, a typical village with ancient pavilions, stone pagodas, and temples (Maximum 5 passengers per sampan, duration of 2 hours. In case of rain, the sampan is replaced by a non-private tourist boat).
Then visit Linyin Monastery, built on a hill filled with magnificent Buddhist statues with a sublime 24m Buddha dating back to the 10th century. A tea tasting ceremony at Meilong, where you can also see tea plantations and learn the traditional way of preparing green tea. Overnight at the hotel.
Optional evening: Impressions of West Lake show (pay on site).
A show of light, music, dance, and theater on the water, retracing the stories and legends of Hangzhou and the West Lake region. The show uses the lake and its surroundings as props, lights, and hundreds of actors to create a sensational atmosphere, giving the impression that the performers dance on water.

Day 8: Hangzhou – Xiamen
Arrival in Xiamen - Fish Market
Garden on the Sea
After breakfast, transfer to the high-speed train station for Xiamen.
Arrive in Xiamen in Fujian province. This major port, formerly known as Amoy, was a haven for Japanese pirates during the 15th-16th centuries. It later became one of the ports open to foreigners under the Treaty of Nanking.
Arrive and meet our guide, then transfer to the city.
Visit the fish market and stroll through the charming city center, earning it the nickname "Garden on the Sea."
Check into the hotel.

Day 9: Xiamen – Yongding
What is a Tulou?
Meet the Hakkas - Tianluokeng Tulou - Tea Making at a Local Farm
Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Nanjing.
Meet the Hakkas, who migrated from northern China over a thousand years ago. Their strong sense of community is reflected in their architecture: the Tulou village fortresses, extraordinary earthen structures in the shape of giant fortified houses, round or square. They can house up to 800 people often belonging to the same clan.
Drive to Nanjing, visit the Tianluokeng site. It consists of a square Tulou, three circular ones, and an oval-shaped one. From above, it looks like a UFO in the world.
Visit Yuchang Lou and Taxia village, overnight at the hotel.
Highly recommended: learn how to make tea at a local farm to better understand the process.

Day 10: Yongding

Banana Fields - Chengqi Lou - Jiqing Lou
Drive to Yongding through banana fields, sugarcane, lychees, oranges, and bamboo in the heart of Hakka country. Visit the most beautiful Tulou-Chengqi lou, considered the castle of a large family. Continue to Chuxi, visit Jiqing Tulou. (Possibility of a pleasant hike in this region, please consult us for more details).
Overnight in a typical Tulou hotel.

Don't forget to bring mosquito repellent in summer. No malaria cases in this region!
Must-try: chicken soup with medicinal herbs.
Day 11: Yongding – Meizhou
Route to Meizhou - Visit the Marshal Ye Jianying’s House and the Yannanfei Plantation Village
Breakfast at the hotel, then drive to Meizhou (1.5-hour drive). Arrive in Meizhou. This city is considered the center of the Hakka language, along with the neighboring committees of Mei and Dabu.
Visit the Marshal Ye Jianying’s House and the Yannanfei Plantation Village.

Day 12: Meizhou – Guangzhou

Train to Guangzhou
Breakfast at the hotel, then transfer to the station. Train to Guangzhou (5.5-hour duration).
Arrive in Guangzhou in the afternoon, meet your local guide.
Guangzhou is one of China’s oldest ports, a meeting point between the Middle Kingdom, the Indian world, the Arab world, and the rest of the West. Temples, mosques, and cathedrals testify to this, a stone’s throw from Hong Kong.

Optional evening: climb the Guangzhou TV tower (optional and pay on site) for a panoramic view, very pleasant after dinner.

Day 13: Guangzhou
Zumiao - Nanfeng Guzao - Local Market
In the morning, depart for Foshan (about 45 minutes by road, 30km). Visit Zumiao, the Ancestral Temple. Continue to Nanfeng Guzao, an ideal place to learn about Chinese pottery and porcelain making. Walk through the local market famous for its porcelains.
Return to Guangzhou.

Day 14: Guangzhou - Hong Kong

Breakfast at the hotel.
Visit the Chen Family Residence. Then visit Qingping Market, and finally, stroll on Beijing Road. In the late afternoon, transfer to the hydrofoil port to Hong Kong.

Arrival - Transfer - First Encounter at Tian'anmen Square - Temple of Heaven

Arrive in Beijing, meet your French-speaking guide at the airport and transfer to the city. First contact with Tian'anmen Square, the largest square in the world and emblem of New China. Stroll in the Temple of Heaven, where the emperor prayed for good harvests; an opportunity to witness popular life with folk dances, singing, and gymnastics. Check-in at the hotel.

Day 2: Beijing
Great Wall - Olympic Park - Tea Ceremony

Meet at the hotel between 8:00-8:30 AM. Excursion day to the Great Wall at Mutianyu (wear good shoes), much less crowded than Badaling or Juyongguan, with cable car and toboggan options suitable for all ages. Arrive around 10:00 AM at the Wall. Minimum 3 hours on-site. Lunch on your own (options include Subway, noodle bistros, dumplings, etc.). Return at 2:30 PM with a stroll in the Olympic Park, seeing the Water Cube and the Bird’s Nest Stadium. Enjoy a tea tasting in a traditional tea house. Return to the hotel.

Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Kunming

Arrive in Kunming, meet and transfer to the city, visit the flower market, stroll through Cuihu Park, then transfer to the train station for an overnight train in a soft sleeper to Dali. Night on board.

Day 2: Dali

Arrival in Dali. Meet and have breakfast, then visit the Three Pagodas, a symbol of Dali. Take a short cruise on Erhai Lake. Walk through the old town of Dali: ancient South Gate, Foreigner Street, church, People's Avenue, silverware shops, etc. Overnight in Dali.

Day 3: Dali-Weishan

Drive to the century-old town of Weishan (1.5h), passing through the Hui village of D**g Lianhua with houses dating back to the Ming and Qing dynasties. Visit the old town of Weishan and the famous Taoist temple. Return to Dali, overnight in Dali.

Day 4: Nuodeng

Visit the morning market in Xizhou, taste the Bai ethnic group's Three-Course Tea. Continue the journey to the village of Nuodeng (3h). Visit Nuodeng village (ancient salt capital). Nuodeng in French means the house of the tiger, the village being located on a perilous summit. There are 200 very different houses. This village is known as one of the most interesting in Yunnan. Overnight in Yunlong.
Note: The village is on a slope and only accessible by foot.

Day 5: Shibaoshan - Shaxi

Drive to Shaxi (4.5h), approaching Shaxi, visit the Shibaoshan Grottoes. Unique in China for their pagan and Buddhist inspiration, the sculptures were made between the 9th and 13th centuries.
Arrive and stroll through the village of Shaxi, an important town on the ancient tea and horse trade route, to enjoy a beautiful adventure off the beaten path in Yunnan. Overnight in Shaxi in a typical lodge.

Day 6: Shaxi - Tiger Leaping Gorge - Trek

Excursion to Tiger Leaping Gorge (2.5h drive), arrive at Qiaotou Town, start trekking, approx. 6 to 7 hours of walking, lunch included en route. Overnight at Chama (Tea Horse) Guesthouse.

Day 7: Tiger Leaping Gorge - Trek - Lijiang

Continue trekking from Chama (Tea Horse) Guesthouse to Tina's House, 4 - 5 hours of walking. Then drive to Lijiang (2h), overnight in Lijiang.

Day 8: Lijiang

Visit Lijiang, Baisha Frescoes, Yuhu Village, the ancient town of Shuhe, stroll through the old town on your own, overnight in Lijiang.

Day 9: Lijiang-Liming-Lijiang

Drive to Liming (2.5h), then Liming, famous for its red-colored landscapes. Overnight in a local hotel. Visit Thousand Turtles Mountain, return to Lijiang. Free time to rest in Lijiang.

Day 10: Lijiang-Return

Transfer to Lijiang airport for return.

Day 1: Beijing

Arrival - Transfer - Check-in
Arrival in Beijing. Depending on your flight, you'll be greeted at the airport and transferred to the city.

Approximately 1.5 hours from Beijing Daxing Airport (PKX)

Day 2: Beijing

Tiananmen Square - Forbidden City - Coal Hill - Hutong
Breakfast at the hotel.
Walk around Tiananmen Square, the largest square in the world. Explore the famous Forbidden City, with over 9000 rooms including six important structures: the Hall of Supreme Harmony for official ceremonies, the Hall of Preserving Harmony for banquets, the Palace of Heavenly Purity, the Throne Hall, the residences of the Empresses, and the concubine quarters, now a museum with imperial gardens.
Climb Coal Hill for a panoramic view of the Forbidden City and all of Beijing. Stroll through the old Hutong district with your guide, discovering one of the ten most beautiful Hutongs in Beijing, Yandai Xiejie. If desired, you can rent a bike for a tour of the old city.
Day using public transport (subway, bus, taxi, etc.)

Day 3: Beijing

Mutianyu Great Wall - Ming Tombs
Breakfast at the hotel.
Excursion to the Mutianyu Great Wall, less crowded compared to Badaling or Juyongguan. It's equipped with a cable car and a toboggan (payable on site), suitable for both the elderly and young.
Visit the Ming Tombs, the most important group of imperial necropolises in China. Visit Changling Tomb. To the south of the Ming Tombs, the Spirit Way is lined with 36 animal, fantastic creature, and human statues, offering a peaceful, scenic walk spanning 7 kilometers.
On the return: photo stop at the Olympic Park with an exterior view of the Water Cube and Bird's Nest.
Options:

Replace with Huanghuacheng Great Wall, fewer tourists, soft walk, no extra charge.
Replace with a day excursion to Jinshanling Great Wall (no Ming Tombs due to distance), more wild, fewer tourists, trek possible, with an extra fee.
Day 4: Beijing
Temple of Heaven - Lama Temple - Summer Palace - Train Station
Breakfast at the hotel.
Morning visit to the Temple of Heaven to see local folk dances, opera, and gymnastics. Visit the beautiful Prayer Pavilion. Visit the Lama Temple, known for its 26m high Buddha statue carved from a single 8m diameter sandalwood tree.
Excursion to the Summer Palace and its imperial garden, considered the "Versailles of China". Climb the Pavilion of Buddhist Fragrance for a magnificent view of the lake.
In the evening, transfer to the west station and overnight train in a soft sleeper (1st class Chinese, 4 persons/cabin) to Xi'an. Night on board.

Day 5: Xi'an
Terracotta Army - 8th Wonder of the World
Arrival in Xi'an and greeting by your guide. Breakfast.
Departure to visit the archaeological site of the Terracotta Army (40 km, 1 hour), part of the burial complex of the first Emperor of China, Qin Shi Huang Di (3rd century BC). Don’t miss the famous bronze chariots, nicknamed the kings of bronze. Return to the city. Stop at the Big Wild Goose Pagoda Square to enjoy the city’s atmosphere.
Evening: Dumpling banquet and Tang Dynasty music and dance show (optional)

Day 6: Xi'an - Guilin
Ancient Capital - Old City - Flight to Guilin
Breakfast at the hotel.
Start with the Small Wild Goose Pagoda where you can take a calligraphy class. Continue with a visit to the Shaanxi History Museum (closed on Mondays). Walk around the park at the foot of the city walls to discover remnants of the Ming era. Discover the old city with the Great Mosque dating back to the Tang dynasty.
Transfer to the airport, flight to Guilin, arrival and transfer to the hotel. Night at the hotel.

Day 7: Guilin - Longsheng
Longsheng Terraced Fields (Dragon's Backbone) - Ping'an Village
Breakfast at the hotel.
Drive to Longsheng (2.5-hour journey) via a splendid mountain road. Ping'an and Longji (Dragon's Backbone) are named for their terraced fields sculpted by generations, creating stunning beauty. Visit the friendly village of Ping'an. Check-in at a simple but charming wooden hotel. Explore the surrounding terraced fields (light hike approx. 2 hours), meeting the Zhuang and Yao villagers.
Return to the hotel in Guilin.

Day 8: Guilin - Yangshuo
Li River Cruise - West Market - Local Market
Transfer to the small town of Yangdi (approx. 4.5-hour drive). Motorized bamboo raft cruise between Yangdi and Jiumahuashan amidst fairy-tale landscapes. This is the most beautiful part of the cruise. Disembark at Xingping, then drive to Yangshuo. Walk around the West Market with its many shops, bars, and restaurants aimed at tourists. Don’t miss the real local life at a local market: fresh vegetables, aquatic products...
Check-in at the hotel. Night at the hotel.

Day 9: Yangshuo - Guilin - Shanghai
Free Morning in Yangshuo - Flight to Shanghai
Breakfast at the hotel.
Free morning to enjoy the small village of Yangshuo; you can rent a bike for a tour of the rice fields or take a small bamboo raft cruise on the Yulong River. Then transfer to the Guilin airport, flight to Shanghai.
Arrival and transfer to the hotel in Shanghai. Night in Shanghai.

Day 10: Shanghai
Jade Buddha Temple - Museum - Xintiandi - Bund - Nanjing Road
Breakfast at the hotel.
Visit the Shanghai Museum (closed on Mondays) next to Renmin Square (People's Square) and the Jade Buddha Temple, the most famous in Shanghai.
Stops at the old sites of the French Concession (Xin Tian Di), a chic nightlife area with numerous shops, pubs, and restaurants.
Walk along the Bund, the center of administrative and commercial activities from the past, offering a magnificent view of the port and along the river. Stroll along Nanjing Road, China’s first pedestrian shopping street.
