The route no. 61 takes us on a steady and beautiful path down to Holenstein, the middle station ❄️

With a duration of only 1.45 hours and the constant panoramic view, this hike is suitable for almost everyone 🌲

Over twenty international teams will be competing for the title and the several thousand CHF in prize money 🏆 The tournament gets its name from having supplemented the prize money with a live prize in the early 1980s: a "Muni", or small bull ❄️

They are called "Alpendohlen" or Alpine chough in english and are just as much a part of the excursion site as the glacier itself ☀️

In these times, where the temperatures are below zero it's important that you wear enough clothing, preferably in layers, and your shoes need a good profile 👞
If the sun is shining, we also recommend applying sun protection ☀️ A beanie, scarf and gloves are also a good idea - don't underestimate winter ☃️
