Well, it's about time, because the Velogemel is a traditional wooden frame with two runners and a world championship is happening in Grindelwald 🛷
This Sunday, February 4th on Bussalp above the village of Grindelwald, to be exact 🏅
Starting at 12 pm, participants of all age groups will compete for the title of the fastest Velogemel rider 🏁Late registrations are possible on site until 11.00 am for a fee of + CHF 5 📝 Would you like to try this vehicle? ☀️

Welcome to our page for our holiday apartment in the alpine village of Grindelwald. Chalet Irma is situated in a peaceful corner of Grindelwald, yet only a couple of minutes away from the bustling main street with shops, cafes, and restaurants and surrounded by majestic peaks including the Eiger and Wetterhorn. It is conveniently located for buses, trains and various gondolas.
Whether you love the Alps in summer for hiking or cycling or you are a winter sports fanatic, our chalet is in the perfect location for you to explore the whole of the Jungfrau region.
The apartment comprises a hallway, lounge with double doors to a private balcony with table and chairs, kitchen with eating area, main bedroom with 6 foot double bed, second bedroom with doors to a large terrace (shared with owner) and a luxury shower room with rainfall shower.
We have decided to start by charging a reduced rate of CHF130 per night to friends and family.
