We have mentioned many times, but if you keep going just a bit further away on your bike, you will get to . From there, you can get on the gondola that takes you to Gimmelwald, or further to Mürren.

There is multiple walking paths, or bike trails, where you can continue your day trip.

Our favourite and mostly recommended route around Lake Brienz was unfortunately affected by a heavy thunderstorm ⛈️ few days ago 😥

A huge landslide damaged houses, railroad and made moving around in the area much more complicated. We are very sorry for everyone affected by this natural event and hoping such things won't happened any time soon again.

We highly recommend to follow the local weather forecast, whatever you might be doing. The weather seems to be changing extremely quickly, especially on the mountains. Stay safe dear friends 💞

The uphill ride from Lauterbrunnen to Wengen might not be the easiest part of your trip to Kleine Scheidegg, but rewards you with the most spectacular views on the valley ⛰️

We dare to say doing this trip (Interlaken-Lauterbrunnen-Wengen-Kleine Scheidegg and back) without an E-bike is a foolish decision, especially if you wanna keep biking,hiking or doing anything active the next day 💪🏼

The name of Interlaken, as you probably know, means "between lakes".

The bigger one, Thun lake is 17.5 km long, 3.5 km wide with maximum depth of 217 m. It's located just 6km away from the Lake Brienz, that is filled with the beautiful turquoise glacier water.

Lake Brienz is therefore also colder on average. With max length of 14 km, width 2.8km, and the surprising max depth of 260 m, it belongs to 5 deepest lakes in Switzerland.

Our recommendation for a longer, but still easily doable trip would definitely be the Brienz Lake loop, that you can also find in our highlights.

BIKE SAFETY RULES ⛑️

To avoid any injuries on your bike, it's always best to:

• always wear a helmet 🪖
• focus 100% on what's happening in front and around you, while keeping both your hands on the handlebars 👀
• inspect your bike before you ride 🪛🔧

If possible, stay on the bike paths 💁🏼

And of course, do not forget about having the right travel / accident insurance ✅
