We're a team of 5 students plus 1 professor who host top executives from the hospitality industry to speak at EHL. We invite these speakers to EHL to spend the day with us and to give a keynote speech open to all students at EHL.

We are looking to recruit someone from BOSC1! We're looking for someone who is responsible, social, and organized. As one of our team members, it will be you job to host a speaker for the day. This includes everything from organizing logistics to marketing the keynote speech to having dinner at BDS with the speaker.

The DSS team is recruiting ONE bosc1 and ONE bosc2. This is a great opportunity to personally meet executives of the hotel industry.

We're a group of students (one per semester) who host executives from the hotel industry when they come to speak at EHL. We're in charge of the entire organization of the event, and thus have an opportunity to personally meet and really get to know the speakers. In the past, we've had speakers ranging from the CEO of Marriott to the CEO of Davidoff.

We're looking for someone outgoing, organized, and a good team player.

Dear BoSC1 and BoSC2 Students,

Many of you are already familiar with the EHL Distinguished Speaker Series (DSS), EHL’s premier forum for bringing the hospitality industry’s top executives to our campus to share their knowledge and views during a day of student-focused activities. The DSS is overseen by Professor Demian Hodari who founded the series in 2003, but is managed operationally by a small team of six student volunteers from the Bachelors and Masters programs. This spring the team will be recruiting one student from BoSC1 and one student from BoSC2.

The DSS team organizes several speaker events throughout the year. External guests usually engage in round table discussions with selected members from the EHL community, and finish the day with a keynote presentation open to the public. The DSS team works together on planning all the events and hosting each speaker. By joining our team you will be able to improve your event management skills, but at the same time benefit from valuable networking opportunities and gain genuine insight into to the decision-making strategies of the hospitality industry's top executives.

In order to be considered for our team you should:

· Be fluent in English (written and oral)
· Have strong interpersonal skills
· Be flexible, take initiative and commit time to organizing these events
· Have a team spirit and sense of humour
