Apartment Four Seasons

20 years ago we made one of the best decisions of our lives. We bought Apartment Four Seasons off plan. We visited in August 2004 to check on progress, and choose fixtures and fittings. Since then we have enjoyed special family time together there& seen our family expand . We have made new friends and welcomed guests from literally all over the world! Long days at this time of year mean lovely evening walks when the day trippers have gone home or back to their hotels. With the full moon last week , it was wonderful to enjoy the views with the moon coming up and the lights coming on at Staubbach falls.

Despite the recent rain in Switzerland we have just had a lovely week at Apartment Four Seasons. I always enjoy tending the garden and was happy to see both roses in bloom. The apple tree is thriving and I planted some more edelweiss and gentians. I just can’t get enough of these little beauties! Although we are now swinging into high season, the terrace is an oasis of calm & we love to sit out whatever the weather!

We are excited to be welcoming lots of new guests this summer! And of course it’s a host’s biggest compliment when regular guests choose to come back! We still have a couple of weeks left this summer, including Swiss day 🇨🇭🇨🇭🇨🇭

Did you know that Staubbach falls is floodlit at night? I took the first shot , walking back from the train station one evening. The second at the falls and third was taken from our terrace. Day or night,constantly changing, always mesmerising!

If you plan on using the excellent network of public transport whilst in Switzerland or enjoy a mountain excursion, the Swiss Federal Railways (SBB) app is one of the most useful apps to download. 📱

Not only does the SBB Mobile app show the timetables for all trains across the network, users can also check details for buses, boats and cable cars, as well as fares.

The SBB app also allows you to purchase tickets, save details of your trips and check information about train stations in Switzerland. 🙌

All these things make the app a very helpful tool for travellers of all kinds.
