We’ve lost one of our first FlyNet ambassadors. Jan Sterren died in an avalanche wile ski touring Sunday. We are very sad and will always remember his enthusiasm, his smile, his simplicity. Jan was one of the few pilots capable of flying 10 hours on a comp wing in the turbulences of the alps, as well as one of the few pilot able to do a 500+km flight. We already miss you Jan.

Its been a long time without news and 2017 starts with a good one. Finally The FlyNet protocol will be implemented in XC Track for both Baro & GPS fix! Check it out in the next XC Track update! For those using the tweak in the config file called XcTrackCompatible it will be no more necessary in the next XC Track version.

Hi everybody! Its been a long time without news, sorry. We just released a new firmware that solve the iOS Bluetooth connection issue. This bug was generated by Apple we couldn't foresee it because they did the change without notifying us!

After a long thought we decided to stop the developement and support of the FlyNet app on iOS and Android and also FlyNet Track. Many other apps are compatible with our varios and are providing very interesting functionalities.

Sunday i was Getting ready for XC at the top of Suchet (Switzerland) with at least 20 other pilots and team SUI3. Suddenly Samuel Vurpillod Team SUI2 pops up with a very special Xalp bag on his back ;-) Maybe this is a special training technique and he's carrying stones or some thing. We had a good laugh. 15 of us did more than 100Km, 126 for myself on a test wing and the best one Benu Staub did 183Km. What a day!

FlyNet users & XC Track fans, we do not forget you we are fighting hard to become compatible since last summer. Unfortunately Petr Chromec the developper has two hands full with other programing projects, but he promise us to do it as soon as possible!

There is a new update on our iOS FlyNet app. It corrects a FlyNet Track bug on the app, the device settings are now separated from the app settings and the takeoff and landing are now automatic. Please note that the FlyNet track server still has son minor problems for the moment but it works. We expect to correct that soon but for now we are working on a major firmware version for the FlyNet 3 and FlyNet XC.

Hi we are very happy to share an excellent PC / Mac software from Gil Thomas a French pilot. It's a Digital logbook called Logfly actually it is in French & English and it should be translated in German soon.

Why are we talking about it? It is compatible with FlyNet XC! You can easily download flights, make settings and it also makes the updates automatically and idiot proof ;-)

User manual of the new version (3.0) should be available soon.
