💥 THANK YOU 2024! And… what’s next ?

In January 2024, we began our first year of operating fully independently, without the safety net of my office job that financially supported Detours jn 2022 and 2023 when we were just taking our first baby steps into the world of . At first, the team consisted of me and myself 🤩🙏🏻, in year two, there were three of us, and now, looking back at 2024, I see an amazing team of 7 people surrounding me and supporting the vision and values we want to bring into the world of travel. 💚

Last year started on a sweet note, co-organizing the Schoggifestival with our partner . And we kept the chocolate theme strong 🍫throughout the year, together with , (thank you! 🫶). We launched a new tour program - a chocolate making course with ! 🥳 All of this to inspire a new way of enjoying chocolate- a conscious one that considers the entire value chain. An absolute highlight for me was our trip to Ghana 🇬🇭 with , where I saw firsthand the reasons why to fight & advocate for . (in the picture is happy me in Ghana holding a fresh cacao fruit 🙏🏻)

We also continued to grow our business with and got a new partnership with . Thank you for your trust! 💚

We launched our new with Zürich’s wine star 🙏🏻, and a foodie tour themed around food systems. A highlight in the foodie realm is our new cooking workshop, Cook the Loop, with .zurich . But I gotta admit - launching new projects related to food & wine isn’t an easy task in ! 🙏🏻 As there is already so much going on! So we’ll have to see what direction we move here in 2025 and whether we can sustain all of our foodie experiences. 😋
