Lake Blausee - Hidden Gem of Switzerland

Hello summer - hello sunshine - let's go swimming!😎⛱️

Switzerland has penty of magnificen lakes to discover (more than 1500).
A very special one you should definitely not miss out is lake Blausee. 🐳🌊

One of the most famous mountain lakes in Switzerland and a popular excursion destination for locals and tourists alike. VERY INSTA FRIENDLY 🥰

This tiny lake with a size of only 0.64 ha is nestled in an almost fairytale-like, protected forest area between Kandergrund in the north and Kandersteg in the south.

Since lake Blausee is fed by underground springs, its water is crystal clear and you can usually see the bottom of the lake, although it is sometimes more than 12 meters underwater. 💎✨

Walking trails lead right through the park and well-maintained barbecue and picnic areas are available to day trippers. You can also float across the lake on a glass-bottomed boat.

KKL Lucerne Festival Premiere: Piano Fest 2023

The world-renowned and stunning KKL Lucerne Culture and Congress Centre is hosting its annual Lucerne Festival - one of the world’s leading classical music festivals.

Furthermore, from 18 – 21 May 2023, KKL will celebrate the premiere of the new Piano Festival, curated by pianist Igor Levit (). 🎼🎹

For the four-day festival, Levit is bringing together a number of top-class musicians from a wide range of backgrounds at the KKL Luzern: Alexei Volodin, Anna Vinnitskaya, Fred Hersch and Johanna Summer. 🎶🤩

The curator himself will give a solo recital, but will also be heard in duo with Alexei Volodin and will be a special guest in Fred Hersch's jazz recital.
