The world famous Muri beach and Rarotonga Sailing club is a short 10 minute drive away along the eastern coastline. This central location means it is within easy reach of most of
the island’s main attractions whether you travel by car, bus or motorbike, the latter is the best local mode of transport. A 24 hour store Super Brown is a 3 minute walk away and offers all the conveniences you would want along with Super Brown Takeaways and an ATM. The beach house driveway is laden with white “kirikiri” rocks and the tropical garden provides a welcome feel. Looking towards the beach is a stunning view of the ocean, the reef and the lagoon. While the beach and lagoon is rocky in parts it is ideal for a quick dip or to cool down at high tide. For those who are more adventurous the sea side is ideal for exploring the coastline, collecting sea shells & reef walks. At certain times of the year you can watch the whales swim past or the various water sports events that take place on the island, events like the annual Vaka Eiva paddling competition.
