We were only able to get out fishing for four days last week due to rough seas but big Yellowfin and Mahi galore was our reward!

Shout out to P Diggs and crew from Shapeshifter. Thanks for coming out with us.

Gary Parlor Fishing Comp on the weekend. Akura took out 2nd prize for biggest Mahi and 3rd prize for Aggregate. Great results considering the rough seas.

Akura boys did well at the CIGFC comp on the weekend, landing a 78kg Marlin and coming 3rd place aggregate. Awesome job boys. Special shout out to Game Fishing Rarotonga and Magic Fishing Charters for coming along for a fun crew day out! The sea was a bit rough but the boys had an awesome catch. Congrats all 😁

Beautiful calm seas saw Mahi, Wahoo, Yellowfin Tuna, Skippy and even a Barracuda were all on deck this week. Several Marlin strikes that didn't stick too.

The week started out out a bit rough with some wind and big swells but calmed down as the week went on.

Some good sizes being landed like this 44kg YFT! Check out the weeks catches here.
