Well done to my team today that slayed it hard!!
Lewis and his son Dylan with their awesome catch today. First time game fishing and they get a marlin and 3 tuna haha nice job guys .

Another good day in the office with a father and son getting the full island experience.
Was looking a little slow on fish for the first few hours but luckily we ran into some fish towards the end of our charter.
Sashimi for breakfast is the best way to end the charter.

Managed to get out today with these legends !!
🎣 🎣 🌞 🌊
4 nice size tuna and a marlin around the fad. Caught the marlin on a lucky helco lazer from , the lucky gravel rash 190.
We also had a visit from a barracuda who showed up for a photo and seen a short bill spear fish . Pretty cool!!

Was a nice day out on the water with these legends from Ozzy land on Friday .
Nice way to start the year off with some nice calm days and some fishy’s .

The weather finally came right , so we managed to sneak out for a cheeky fish today.
My new friends from Waiuku got to experience game fishing for the first time .
Didn’t snag any monsters today but came home with some skippys for sashimi . Yuuuuum

Have to say that the big skippys are my fav fish to eat raw.
Little bit of wasabi and soy kikomon BOOM!!!
Nice work today by these Wellingtonians , 3 strikes and two in the bin , nice work guys.
Hope you enjoyed the fresh fish, I know I definitely did 💯.

Some wahoo and tuna for dinner tonight . Had some school friends and family on my charter this morning, so cool.
We ended up with 3 wahoo and a big skippy .
We also hooked up a marlin and had it put on a show for all to see but unfortunately it came off shortly after.

Nice little day out on the water this morning , we ended up coming one with 7 nice size skippys and a nice marlin!!
Hopefully next time boys we can get the rest of the set for ya.

Last few days have been a blast. Weathers been up and down but we have been persevering in search of the mother load of fish.🐟 🐟 🎣
Today we had two charter , one on the morning with one 24.6 kg wahoo and in the avo we had 4 nice size skippys and 2 yellowfin tuna .
Sashimi hit the spot to finish off the charter .

Last week before the bad weather hit we managed to get some nice size skipjack tuna a few miles out on the north western side of Rarotonga .
We managed to find 5 massive flocked of birds but only bitting in one of the flocks .

This was from last week Thursday. Had a quod strike but lost one next to the boat . Managed to land the other 3 and had some delicious yellowfin tuna for sashimi when we got back to the dock.
Sorry about the late post, we have been in sunny Auckland for my daughter Jordynn’s 21st birthday and will be home tomorrow for some sun and more fishing 🎣
Can’t wait to get out there and definitely can’t wait to meet some more good buggers .

This week has been good so far with blood in the bin and some happy first time fisherman and woman 🎣.

The whales are still hanging around, seen 4 today popping big bombs 💦 never gets old .

Another day on the water with some new friends from Straya mate. 🇦🇺
We managed to get him his biggest fish as well as introduced him to the Tax man haha 🦈 . Ended up with 4 strikes , lost 2 to taxman and landed two , nice work bro .
After all the action it was time to head back for some fresh sashimi , 🤤

Sashimi for breakfast!!! Yummm!!
Got these two yellowfin within the first 15 mins leaving the harbor . Unfortunately that was the only two strikes we got but we got blood in the bin.
Nice work today guys, hope you enjoyed the trip .

A family run business based on the island of Rarotonga, the main island within the Cook Islands, Reelaxing Fishing Charters is the dream child of owners, Corey and Nicole who returned to Rarotonga to raise their 3 children.

Corey, a well-known local fisherman, was born and raised on Rarotonga with a fishing rod in either hand! He captains our 8.5 meter aluminium pontoon boat, purposely built for game fishing in Rarotonga.

On land you will find Nicole in the Reelaxing Fishing & Tackle shop located at the Avatiu Harbor, over the road from CITC Building Center. As well as finding out more information about our charter tours, you can also purchase quality fishing gear. A one-stop-shop for keen fishermen, visiting or local.

Whether you want to tailor a charter package (fishing, whale watching, marine research etc) for a group or you want to jump aboard for one of our daily tours, Reelaxing Fishing Charters will give you a memorable experience out on the ocean for all the right reasons!
