Lana del Pobre (Rigodium implexum)Detalle de las hojuelas del musgo Lana del pobre (Rigodium implexum).

Este musgo presenta la peculiaridad de no estar fijado al suelo y es capaz de sobrevivir por higroscopicidad o trasmisión del agua por contacto desde el suelo, así como debido a la humedad de la lluvia.

Por esta razón, generalmente se le encuentra en bosques adultos, normalmente del tipo siempreverde o valdiviano, con protección de un dosel de árboles y arbustos más o menos cerrado. En sectores abiertos no es capaz de sobrevivir. Así mismo, el heho que no esté fijo al suelo posibilita a este musgo de ser movido o arrastrado a otros lugares bajo el bosque.(fuente:Musgos Chile Bosque)

Here, we describe the close relationship between the giant bumble bee Bombus dahlbomii and the Mapuche people, both of which are native to Chile and Argentina. Historical, domestic, and spiritual aspects are mentioned, including the harvest and use of honey. We discuss the loss of aspects of Mapuche culture due to the current conservation status of B. dahlbomii.

The most recent eruption happened in April 2015, when on April 22, the volcano suddenly erupted with little warning, sending a large ash column into the atmosphere; another eruption occurred in the early hours of April 23. A smaller eruption occurred on April 30. The eruptions ranked as a 4 on the Volcanic Explosivity Index. The volcano returned to the lowest alert level on August 18, 2015.
