Get ready, Fam, because Mother Nature throws some wild curveballs on this volcanic titan! Today on Weather Wednesday, we're decoding the mountain's ever-changing moods and packing for all its surprises.
𝐇𝐲𝐝𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐬 𝐤𝐞𝐲: Hydration is key: Drink plenty of water even if you don't feel thirsty, especially in the sun.
Choose footwear with good grip to navigate slippery trails.
We will not be expecting any rain, but if it does come, embrace it as part of the Fako experience, it adds to the adventure.

Mount Fako awaits, adventurers! But before you embark on this epic quest, make sure your backpack is prepped for anything the mountain throws your way.
Today on Gear Up Tuesday, we're packing like volcano slayers and making sure you're ready to tackle every trail, crater, and cloud with confidence.

𝐅𝐨𝐨𝐭𝐰𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐫𝐬.

By this time, everyone needs to know what shoe they will wear on that day.
For those who haven't already, keep in mind that Fako trails vary from rocky and uneven volcanic slopes to muddy rainforest paths.
Sturdy hiking boots with good ankle support are your non-negotiables.
Boots should fit snugly but not constricting. Try them on with the socks you'll wear on the hike. Choose boots with a wider toe box if you have wider feet to avoid discomfort.
They should be breathable, and ready to dance on volcanic ash. Bonus points for fun socks to keep your spirits high. Consider compression socks for improved circulation and fatigue reduction on longer hikes.

And all I can say is we had maximum fun at the Adventures with big Phil community meet up that took place on Saturday September 23rd, over the weekend.

It was amazing sharing beautiful moments as such with like-minded and adventurous people.

The feedbacks from participants of how our past trips have changed their lives and made them better was more fulfilling and rewarding than anything else. In the end, we felt like our goals at Adventures with Big Phil are being met beyond expectations.
