CACUFO creative arts and cultural foundation (CACUFO) is involved in the promotion and conservation of the touristic and cultural values of the nation in a sustainable manner. It is involved in the production of decorative arts and craft work which involves artifacts, masks, statues ,traditional regalia, musical instruments, house hold utensils, artisanal furniture and decorative for offices and homes. • Mindful of law number 98/006 of 14th April 1998 relating to tourism activities in Cameroon. • Mindful of decree number 99/443/pm of 25th march 1999 governing tourism activities in Cameroon. • Mindful of the need for cultural diversity in Cameroon in particular and the world at large Considering the governments growing interest in bio diversity conservation and promotion of tourism as a leading industry in the world. • Considering the need to create awareness amongst the youths on the importance of culture, tourism and agriculture in sustainable development. • Conscious of our status to promote arts in the society. • Cognizant of the benefits that may accrue from collective activities Hereby resolved to create or form this common initiative foundation with aims to seek ways and means of sustaining the socio-cultural and economic well-being of members and would be members thereby safe guarding our survival in fighting against poverty by training some youths in the production process.
