nal and exploitation of its resources. Considering the present day youths and children education, training aspirations and exposure as future leaders and drivers of the state of Cameroon; INSPEH-CAM FOUNDATION aims to promote and enhance education, training, tourism and sustainable development in Cameroon and the world at large; so as to improve the standard of living of the poor, marginalized and low income earners to a level of having access to and control of resources, with a capacity to optimize these education, job opportunities and challenges round the world. Cameroon, which is 80% dependent on agriculture is a moderate income earning since it gained its independence in the 1960s. In terms of employment, the state had been the main employer of her citizens though there were private sectors with reasonable pay packages . Nevertheless, the country started experiencing an economic crises in the late 80s when the introduction of Structural Adjustment Programme (SAP) in the early 90s resulted to a lot of hardship for many households, especially housewives who rely on their husbands for economic viability. Unemployment, poverty and illiteracy with their social ills became the order of the day with 80% of the population living on less than 1 Dollar a day. The advent of globalization in the 90s showed a light at the end of the of the tunnel for reducing poverty, unemployment and illiteracy . Fortunately, the concerted efforts of the Cameroon government and the international partners followed the path of globalization by encouraging the development of CSOs and NGOs in the fight to minimize these social ills. Decree Nô.99/011/20/07/1990 and its text of application Nô 90/53/1912/1990 of the government of Cameroon authorizes the creation of CSOs and NGOs which allowed INSPEHCAM Foundation to see the light of day as a recognized association. INSPEHCAM Foundation fights against poverty, illiteracy and unemployment to reduce socio-economic risk and vulnerability in Cameroon through the use of education, training and charity to foster sustainable and more equitable development nationwide and worldwide.
