Quien Somos? Who are we?

We are a Texan and Calena couple showing the culture and beauty of Colombia through its most famous export coffee! I am from South Texas and she is from the Santiago de Cali, Colombia region. As a kid growing up in South Texas, I grew up in a mixed Anglo/Tejano culture, and learning more about the Latino cultures and learning Spanish was part of the lifestyle. I grew up a minority in South Texas, so you might say the transition and open mindedness of learning another culture came easy. When I first moved to Colombia, I was immediately awestruck by the beauty of the country and quickly grew to enjoy its more laid back lifestyle and super friendly culture. Fast forward to today and you will see that the thing I enjoy most is learning about other cultures, and sharing my own! Through Colombia’s specialty organic coffees, (and not just ordinary coffee I might add) I am able to show the true beauty of Colombia’s culture and environment to the world and continue to share my own. Cuando me mudé por primera vez a Colombia, me sorprendió inmediatamente la belleza del país y rápidamente creció para disfrutar de su estilo de vida más relajado y cultura súper amigable. Avance rápido hasta hoy y verás que lo que más disfruto es aprender sobre otras culturas, y compartir la mía!
