Le condor des Andes.
Il s’agit de la plus grande espèce d’oiseau volant au monde et de l’une des plus anciennes, avec une espérance de vie de plus de soixante-dix ans dans certains cas.
Symbole national de l’Argentine, de la Bolivie, du Chili, de la Colombie, de l’Équateur et du Pérou, elle joue un rôle important dans le folklore et la mythologie des régions andines d’Amérique du Sud.
KUNTUR signifie CONDOR en quechua (langue originaire d’Amérique du Sud).
En Kuntur Colombia Tours nous avons décidé de nous nommer ainsi pour honorer, célébrer et rappeler l’importance de cet oiseau pour les populations de toute la région andine et aussi pour son écosystème. Qu’elle soit dans son esprit qui nous guide à travers les montagnes colombiennes.

The condor of the Andes
It is the world’s largest flying bird and one of the longest-lived birds in the world, with a life expectancy of more than seventy years in some cases.
It is a national symbol of Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru, and has an important role in the folklore and mythology of the Andean regions of South America.
KUNTUR means CONDOR in Quechua (Native language of South America).
In Kuntur Colombia Tours we have decided to name ourselves this way to honor, to celebrate and to remember the importance of this bird for the puieblos of the whole Andean region and also for its ecosystem. Let her in her spirit guide us through the Colombian mountains.
