Great Potoo ( Nyctibius grandis), As its name indicates, it is the largest of the family, pale grey in colour, and is usually seen perched on thick trunks. In Colombia, its distribution area is between the Amazon and the Magdalena Valley. It measures around 55 cm and, like all potoos, its camouflage is perfect in the forest and is not easy to find.
