Natural Hot Springs (one of the most beautiful natural thermal rivers in Colombia).

Laguna la llorona.

Includes:
Breakfast, lunch, snack and coca tea.
Travel insurance and medical assistance.

Recommendations:
Boots or closed shoes (preferably not snikkers), raincoat, umbrella, sunscreen
snow-hat and gloves.
Swimsuit, towel and socks to change.
Hydration and snacks(sandwich of energy bars).
We recommend a good rest the night before and no alcohol use.

Nevado del Ruiz is one of the active volcanoes of the center volcanic belt of the Andes and rises to a height of 5,321 meters above sea level, but due to the yellow alert for the activity of the volcano, the maximum height that the park allows to reach at this moment is 4,500 masl. (it is not possible to touch the snow). In this adventure you will have the opportunity to learn about the phenomenon of the páramo ecosystem around the volcano surrounded by majestic landscapes, lagoons, beautiful waterfalls, a hike through the volcanic rocks and unique ecosystem.

Park entrance
Within the paid zone of the park, there's no view of the volcano and its activity is acquired, it is not possible to reach the snow and it is not allowed to take walks. In order to provide you with a better experience on your visit to Nevado del Ruiz, we’ve designed our adventure in a different way than those offered by most conventional tour operators. In this adventure you will have the opportunity to know the phenomenon of an ecosystem which is called páramo and worldwide uniquely in Venezuela, Colombia and Ecuador. We will hike around the volcano surrounded by majestic landscapes, lagoons, beautiful waterfalls, walk through the volcanic rocks, you will visit the canyon of the Lagunilla river through which an avalanche that caused the Armerovillage catastrophe that was covered under mud together with 23,000 habitants of the village which has lost their life. At the end of the adventure we will visit one of the most beautiful thermal rivers in all of Colombia.
