After much talk of a merger with Avianca, Viva Air announced that it wasn't going to happen and it was going out of business.

No word of any relief for the remaining 500,000 or so ticketholders.

12. A red sign or an unbroken line at the intersection with the word PARE means what?

a) Come to a full Stop
b) Stop only if you feel like it, which you never will.
c) Completely ignore, even the cops do!
d) Nobody knows! Some idiot bureaucrats wasted billions of pesos on these silly decorations!

17. A nun and a priest are halfway across the intersection walking on a zebra and you just rightfully ignored the stop sign coming in the opposite direction. What should do?

a) Come to a full stop and let them get safely to the other side of the street
b) Call them idiots out loud and gun for them for being so stupid. No worries, if you hit them, just keep going.
c) Come to a full stop only if the nun is attractive (or the priest depending on your preference)
d) Ask for absolution before exercising your divine right as a motorist and ploughing ahead.

It's a large thin wafer that Colombians love. They smear arequipe on it and other sweet stuff.

For some gr**gos it might seem to have a texture like styrofoam, but you know what they say...don't knock until you tried it, and if you tried it, don't knock it, just don't eat it...

Just walked through the entire barrio La Sebastiana in Envigado.

The story was always that this is the most dangerous neighborhood, sicario haven and so on, but it looks better than many dodgy areas I've explored before.

Lots of police presence so that could be for a reason, though chatting with them they claimed that there's a lot of settling of scores between gangs here and they wouldn't be interested in this here gr**go (unless I got into their crossfire, I guess!).

There wasn't anything particularly interesting to photograph alas (and I don't mean crime scenes -- that's not what I'm looking for!)

Tall People! Rifle stores (just a name, no guns!) sells made in Colombia pants (34 leg) and shirts that fit giants like us (unlike almost any other store here), and prices are quite good! Alas, they don't have many shoes on offer and no bigger than size 11 so still on the hunt for the best source for that!
