WALKS AROUND MINCA To the lost waterfall, and another couple of waterfalls less than 1.5 miles from the hotel, is a popular day trip the scenery and wildlife along the road are worth the journey on their own. Popular bathing spot Pozo Azul is 45 minutes away by foot; birding along the descent is especially good. A visit to a coffee farm is a good way to find out about growing and harvesting this popular beverage, especially well known (and good!) in Colombia. Just wandering around and checking out life in this friendly town is also a good way to pass the time.

OTHER ACTIVITIES

A number of activities have become available in recent years, including tubing down the Minca River, canyoning, mule rides, and mountain biking of various levels of difficulty. Kids in Minca also have their area for Skateboarding.
