Tasha and Kris Jackson had it all figured out! They had me pick them up from SJO Airport, and drive them to their Hotel in Escazu. The following day, we visited La Fortuna and had a great time at Sky Adventures Park, Arenal Volcano View and Lava Trails, and Baldí Hotsprings, then returned to San José; then, on the next day, I drove them to Los Sueños Marina, for them to take the Isla Tortuga Island Cruise, where they spent the whole day; and lastly, I drove them to enjoy an authentic Costarican menu dinner, at Tiquicia Restaurant, up in the Escazu mountains, with a breathtaking view of San Jose City. Finally, I drove them to SJO Airport for their departure from Costa Rica!

Meet the lovely Monteverde family! Yes, "Monteverde"! Felix, Adele, Alessia and Nevio, visited from Switzerland 🇨🇭!
They experienced Costa Rica for three weeks, and they were kind enough to hire me to be their driver while moving from one destination to the next: Alajuela, Monteverde, Manuel Antonio, and finally, Alajuela again!
On the way to Monteverde, I shared Tártaras with them, which I bought from a lady who sells them on the side of the road, in La Garita! They loved them so much, Alessia decided to bring an extra supply back home, to share with her friends!
Thank you very much to the Monteverde family for making me part of their Costarican experience!

Experimentaron Costa Rica durante tres semanas y tuvieron la amabilidad de contratarme para que fuera su conductor mientras se trasladaban de un destino a otro: Alajuela, Monteverde, Manuel Antonio y, finalmente, ¡Alajuela nuevamente!
Camino a Monteverde les compartí Tártaras, que le compré a una señora que las vende al lado del camino, en La Garita! ¡Les gustaron tanto que Alessia decidió llevar a casa un suministro adicional para compartir con sus amigos!

Ubicado en una saliente rocosa, que tiene vista al Océano Pacífico hacia el Norte y hacia el Sur, el restaurante La Parcela garantiza un ambiente relajado con el susurro del mar ingresando por sus costados 100% abiertos. La atención pronta y amena, y aceptamos la recomendación del filet mignon, con bebida natural de mango, para mi persona y fresa en leche para mi esposa. ¡Los sabores en este plato fueron deliciosos de principio a fin! La jugosa carne, término 3/4, se deshacía en nuestro paladar y nos motivaba a saborearla tanto tiempo como fuera posible. Las verduritas y el puré de papa: perfectos complementos para un delicioso platillo ¡Simplemente espectacular! Al final, sólo quedaba cerrar con tres leches para mí y mi esposa seleccionó un flan de coco, ambos deliciosos, también. Por supuesto, no podía faltar un café, que estaba tan bueno, que no hacía falta endulzar con azúcar, pues su aroma era más que exquisito. ¡Una experiencia especial, en un sitio especial! ¿Recomendadísimo? ¡Claro que sí! Located on a rocky outcropping, which overlooks the Pacific Ocean to the North and South, La Parcela Restaurant guarantees a relaxed atmosphere with the whisper of the sea entering through its 100% open sides. The service was prompt and pleasant, and we accepted the recommendation of the filet mignon, with a natural mango drink, for me and strawberry milk shake for my wife. The flavors in this dish were delicious from start to finish! The juicy meat, Medium Well, melted inside our mouths and motivated us to savor it for as long as possible. Vegetables and mashed potatoes: perfect complements for a delicious dish. Simply spectacular! In the end, it was only closing with tres leches desert for me and my wife selected a coconut flan. Both delicious, too! Of course, we couldn't miss a coffee, which was so good that it wasn't necessary to sweeten, since its aroma was more than exquisite. A special experience, in a special place! Off-road at Ojochal! This took me back to the 1980's when my parents took us camping to Jaco beach for the first time! The road from Orotina to Jaco was just like this one! During the dry season a creek just like the one I crossed would go dry, but during tge rainy season, it would be similar to that one! Great memories! ¡Todoterreno en Ojochal! ¡Esto me llevó de regreso a la década de 1980 cuando mis padres nos llevaron a acampar a la playa de Jaco por primera vez! ¡El camino de Orotina a Jaco era así! Durante la estación seca, un arroyo como el que crucé se secaría, pero durante la estación lluviosa, ¡sería similar a ese! ¡Buenos recuerdos!
