Las Villas del Guayabo

If you are planning a vacation to beautiful Costa Rica, and are tired of mainstream hotels and are looking for the "right" lodging, you've come to the right place! er/dryer. The villas are located on a 250-acre property just south (2 km) of the town of Guayabo de Bagaces, in the foothills of Miravalles Volcano in Costa Rica's northwest Guanacaste province. We're near the Liberia airport (airport code LIR) — an easy 1-hour drive. Using the villas as your base during your stay, you're within 30 minutes of various zip-lines and hot springs, 1-hour from white-water rafting and about 1½ hours from the beaches (an easy day-trip). You don't have to travel off the villas' property; we have horseback-riding and ATVs available and many well-groomed trails through our orchards and old-growth forest. If you're lucky, you'll see the troupe of howler monkeys that occasionally swing through the trees, along with the toucans, parrots and other birds that enjoy the fruits in the orchards. Our farm hosts 20+ small to medium dogs (all friendly) in our no kill shelter. The dogs do not stay near the villas. However, if you have concerns about the dogs please contact us prior to making a reservation.
