Pura Vida Laura and Sam! We are so happy you and Sam visited us at the Tapir Shangri-la Ranch at Volcano Tenorio in Rio Celeste. Our team is also thrilled you both had a wonderful time on you ATV adventure.

As Laura probably mentioned, our horse's will arrive in January. We hope you both come back and visited us next time you travel to Costa Rica in order to experience a Once In A Lifetime horseback riding adventure.

An Exciting Once In A Lifetime Costa Rica Horseback Adventure at The Tapir Shangr-la Ranch!

During the decades of visiting the exquisite Central America country of Costa Rica, our families and friends have enjoyed beautiful scenery along with warm & friendly Costa Rican hospitality.

After returning home from our Costa Rica adventures, we always needed to share our wonderful Rio Celeste / Volcano Tenorio region’s experiences with friends and family members. With the assistance of Danny Vega Calvo, a local horseback riding entrepreneur, our dream was full-filled. We formed an Eco friendly horseback riding company, “Costa Rica Horseback Adventures S.A.”.

It is our goal here at The Tapir Shangr-la Ranch to provide our guest & friends with a unique “Once In A Lifetime” journey on horseback within the Rio Celeste / Volcano Tenorio region.
