Dendrobates auratus or green and black arrow frog is a species of anuran amphibian of the family Dendrobatidae, very common on the forest floor of Central America (from southern Nicaragua) and the northwestern part of Colombia.

The green-billed toucan, iris-billed toucan or canoe-billed toucan[2] (Ramphastos sulfuratus) is a species of piciform bird in the toucan family and the national bird of Belize. Several subspecies are recognized.[3] Its members are important seed dispersers that help the regeneration of rainforests and the habitats in which they live. Of the three species of toucans that are distributed, this is the largest, measuring between 50 and 59 cm and weighing approximately 500 g. Its black plumage contrasts with the yellow of the neck and chest; its skin around the eye is green, irises and tarsi are blue, a long, serrated light green beak with a combination of blue and yellow tones, highlighting the orange-reddish tip. The male has a longer beak than the female. The bird is very attractive due to its colour and the striking multicoloured beak. It feeds mainly on fruit. It travels in flocks of six to 12 adults, demonstrating great agility in moving between trees. They can commonly be seen playing with each other. It inhabits temperate and warm humid climates along an altitudinal range that goes from sea level to 1,230 m. One of the most important risk factors for the balance of its populations is the loss and fragmentation of habitat (overexploitation of forests, transformation of land use by agricultural and livestock activities, human settlements and the opening of roads). Also, poaching and illegal trade and trafficking.

The red-eyed tree frog or red-eyed frog (Agalychnis callidryas) is a species of frog in the family Hylidae, found from eastern Honduras to northwestern Colombia.[2][3][4] Its name comes from the Greek (aga) meaning "full of", (lychnos) "bright" and the species name refers to (kallos) "beauty" and (dryas) "tree nymph". Most notable are its large red eyes with vertical pupils. As adults, they can have bright colors all over their body.[5] Green is predominantly green, but they usually have other colors such as blue or yellow.[6] The front legs are bright blue, while the back legs are red or orange. The coloration of this frog is very striking. The male is smaller than the female: 56 mm and the female 71 mm. They are nocturnal and arboreal.
