Cada año, esta actividad se supera. 🙌

A few days ago, I had the pleasure of spending two full days with a wonderful family from Portugal. While learning some "Portuñol" 🇪🇸🇵🇹 (a fun mix of Spanish and Portuguese), we had an amazing time together!

Absolutely no words can capture the sheer cuteness of this juvenile Three-toed Sloth! 🦥💚
We had the incredible luck to spot this adorable little one with our friends from La Fortuna Explorers at Las Mariolas Trail.
We believe this teen recently separated from its mom just a few weeks ago. Baby sloths stay with their mothers for 1 to 2 years, depending on the individual and species. During this time, they are extremely vulnerable to predators, and mom keeps them safe and off the ground.
