Sooo cute

A life is a life is a life. 💚

Orphaned sloths like this three-fingered baby are found alone due to a number of reasons including the mother being electrocuted on electrical wires, dog attacks, and habitat loss.

When rescued and PROPERLY trained to be rewilded, these young sloths have the opportunity to live their life out in the wild again. 🌳

Our Sloth School System allows them first be placed in the proper "grade" like elementary, and then progress through the stages as they learn and grow - just like kids in regular school!

First night in town we arrived at 730pm and the customs lines were very short. After picking up our car we checked into Hotel Aeropuerto for the night. We try not to drive long distance at night and after a long day of travel and in the heart of the rainy season we opted for an early start the next day.

Super happy to find the hotel restaurant Dirigo Fermentory open. An excellent small brewery with great beer, kombucha and food. This is where we stop coming in and out on our trips.

I got to try a few new beers on the tap list; La Jaguara Pale Ale, Hunter New England IPA and a Lager Kombucha made with a German Pils and Wildberry Kombucha. We also got a taste of the Cosmobucha made from Wildberry Kombucha, vodka & lime, yummy!

For dinner I had the Chifrijo Dirigo; rice, beans, fried pork & avacado with a side of pico de gallo.

The restaurant was quiet with music videos playing on the TV and the hotel is inexpensive and a good place to stay for the night and close to the airport.
