"FAVORITE of our 3-week family trip to Costa Rica!
My 7 and 5-year-old daughters dreamed of horseback riding. Enrique managed to give them confidence in themselves so that they embarked on their horse and did the complete hike alone on their horse! What pride she had! WoW!
We left the beaten track… we saw magnificent frogs, monkeys, magnificent landscapes, and incredible falls!

My daughters are still talking about this amazing activity! I'm sure they'll be talking about it for a long time to come!!!"

"We went to visit Enrique and his magnificent horses as a family, with our 8-year-old twins. We spent an exceptional day, moving and in all respects spectacular. The children still talk to us about it every day.
It's not a traditional horseback ride but rather an immersion in a universe where man and horse form a team and a real relationship.
All the preparation before the ride allows you to create a real bond with the horse with whom you will be teaming up. I had no riding experience and appreciated taking this time with Julia, a beautiful calm and persevering mare. Which gift! The trails are hilly and as it rained, sometimes slippery! But I had complete confidence in Julia and I was right: she never flinched.
We had a nice long trip to the falls, through beautiful landscapes where we felt alone in the world. Enrique's daughter had made us scrumptious burritos wrapped in banana leaves and iced tea.
My children fell in love with their frames. But above all, we all fell in love with Enrique, a man of incredible intelligence and sensitivity. We could have talked with him for hours! He was accompanied by his wonderful assistant Kendall, a considerate, attentive and gentle young man whom the whole family adored. A great team. And a day we will remember for the rest of our lives!"

Beautiful property, excellent staff (Enrique y Steven y Andres y Ronald were SO great to be around and very accommodating), well taken care of horses, awesome horseback ride through the forest where we saw sloths and monkeys! Enrique is so passionate about the horses and his business that he instills his passion within you. Don't miss a lovely, educational, and fun time at AHT!!"

It’s been a while since we gave you updates on the horses! Everyone was very busy feeding them and keeping them in good shape during rainy season, which was and is a lot of work! 🤠💪💦 . The herd is currently in a new beautiful pasture while the team has to take care of growing more grass in the other field. . In this video, there is no music except the original nature sounds so you can spend time in immersion with the herd while they peacefully graze. (Titan is missing from the video as he was enjoying some alone time in another part of the pasture 😜) Thank you again from the team and from the horses for all your support! 🙏❤️🐴

Thankfully, we like to do things differently here and we believe in relationship based training. 😊🐎 And it can be that simple. 🙏 Thank you all for your help in buying treatments and maintaining the horses in good health during this hard time. We couldn’t do it without your support. You are amazing ! ✨ . ——————————————————- . 🇹🇭 Día de desparasitación 🐴 Es difícil de creer que, lamentablemente, para demasiados caballos en el mundo de hoy, este tipo de tratamiento simple es traumático y la gente utiliza una gran cantidad de restricciones o sedantes para hacerlo. Por suerte, aquí nos gusta hacer las cosas de otra manera y creemos en el entrenamiento basado en las relaciones 😊🐎. Y puede ser así de sencillo. 🙏 Gracias a todos por su ayuda en la compra de tratamientos y el mantenimiento de los caballos en buena salud durante este periodo difícil. An amazing herd of 23 horses

In the middle of the jungle of Costa Rica lives this herd of 23 beautiful and wise horses...Most of them were born here and are living amongst their family, others joined the herd along the way. For more than 10 years, they have guided tourists in the jungle on rides and they have facilitated equine therapy and coached humans to be more in touch with themselves. They have always shown incredible generosity, love and compassion for any human who approached them.

They live in the most natural conditions possible : in wide pastures, as a herd and family, and barefoot. To be able to ride them, first you have to learn their language and how to make a connection with them, understand them better and build trust. They have amazing teaching skills and share them to anyone who is willing to open their heart.

This herd have touched many hearts. Perhaps you know them already – maybe you had a profound connection or healing experience with them - or perhaps you can see their wise, beautiful spirits and feel drawn to them.
