Green Paradise is a home rental service provided in one of the best properties in the Monteverde Cloud Forest in Costa Rica. We are just a few minutes away from the Monteverde Cloud Forest Biological Preserve. Our property is actually located in the heart of the Biological Corridor that runs from the Biological Preserve all the way down to the Pacific Ocean. This Corridor is a protected area that
allows all the migratory animals to run free and save up and down the Pacific side of Monteverde. There are about 56 species of birds found in the property that don't go as high as the Preserve and are therefore found here and not up there. All together, Monteverde has about 480 species of birds, including 91 migratory species. One of the residents of our forest at Green Paradise is the long tailed Manakin that won't be found at any higher area than this. Our homes are fully equipped and may be rented for a couple of days or for several weeks, or even months. We are also near the Monteverde Cheese Factory, the San Luis Community and the waterfall, the largest local artisan shop in the area called CASEM and right next door to the Friend's School and Meeting House. The amazing view of the Pacific Ocean and the Nicoya Peninsula will take your breath away. You may rent one of our homes with that magnificent view or simply rent one surrounded by forest and hike down to see the view. We also provide guided tours within the property or any where in the area, but we highly recommend a walk through the Cloud Forest with our guide during the morning so that you may have the chance to see some of the amazing wildlife. We have over 2500 species of plants, 513 species of orchids, 134 species of mammals, 56 species of amphibians and 96 reptiles. Only 2% of the world is a Cloud Forest and you are more than welcome to pay a visit to ours. All our homes have a washer, a stove, an oven, a fridge, a coffeemaker, hot water, internet and telephone service, and all the supplies a home needs. Depending on the season you may go out and pick some oranges, limes, lemons, locusts, bananas, two different kinds of black berries, raspberries, guavas, coffee beans and other local fruits from our property. We have more than 20 years of experience in the area and are familiar with all the tours offer around here. So we will be more than glad to help you look for the best tours and get you the best prices so that you will have a save and great quality attention.
