About eight years ago I was teaching yoga in a tiny yoga studio in Nosara and Carrie started coming to my classes. We hit it off and she eventually helped me find my first horse, Frisco, and I started taking riding lessons with her. Through that journey of riding and practicing yoga together we began to realize many of the parallels between yoga and riding - from riding position and alignment to philosophy and mindfulness. From there we created Equisol and a chance to experience an immersion into yoga and riding for a week in beautiful Costa Rica. Since then I have also partnered with Callie Rae King to create Yoga for Riders - an online yoga program specifically for equestrians!
